Update:
Well I got the jeep back from the shop with a new rear brake line and flex line. Also my alignment is finish with an interesting finding, apparently my thrust angle is .55 off... So I think the unibody is tweaked a little. I might throw some new shackles in the rear and see if that solves anything.
Yesterday I pulled all of the carpet from the rear seats back. I picked up a couple cans of bed liner. I need to do some body work and bed line the low sections of the doors.
Tonight I just finished my harness for my aux lights. 4ga to second fuse box, 2 30 amp relays and 10 ga in-between. Should be bright!
I want to focus the next month or so on rather cheap or free mods. I hit my cap for my budget and have a lot that isn't on yet. Mostly small parts and paint. My "Financial Advisor" says I have spent enough for the time being....
I'm going to focus on:
- Cleaning up the rest of the rust
- Bed line the lower portions of the doors
- Cut hinges for removable doors
- Add D-rings and bed line the cargo area
- Mod fender flares to fit bigger tires
- Wire in Aux reverse lights
- Make a better bumper light bar
- Try fitting my highlift jack, toolkit, and medical bag under my rear seat
- Relocate vacuum ball to a better place
- Start my water crossing mods with lengthening and adding breathers
- Remove exhaust clamps and weld the tailpipe in place
Any other free or cheap mods you can think of? Ill try posting more pictures tomorrow. Taking the jeep out to one of my management properties and shooting a little trap with the owner and my colleague.

Does this "financial advisory" have to go through the same rigors of this daily work horse? I believe if this jeep is for work, better capabilities = more income?
Seat swap for more comfortable ride, cut fold rear fender?

Well the business is in its beginning phases and sometimes I go a couple days without working on a contract. Most of which are 2 to +5 year programs. At this point my income isn't high enough to support us without a second job so money isn't exactly tight but still should use it the most effective way.
On a pre deer season job for a client brush clearing I lost my tail pipe somewhere on the property. +80 acres of oak savannah. I'm doing my best to find it but I'm not hopeful. So momentarily the jeep will be garaged. Either until I find it or give up looking.... Also at a fire department meeting the local sheriffs officer told me that he strongly suggests I get better tire coverage as the mud on his windshield was not appreciated... Law states that I can have big tires just have to cover them..
That leads me to my next point. I'm going to spend my off time making some fiberglass wide body fenders for the front. I have found some awesome pictures and a couple home brew ideas.
Well anyway here are some of the pictures.. Our day got cut short shooting after a couple boxes of shell. Some neighbors lab decided to "check out" who was shooting and kept running around down range and was way to fast to catch.

The last couple of weeks have been interesting. I'm back to building! Here's an updated photo. I have installed a set of wide body flares and have some larger rear fender flares to install. Unfortunately we got 14 inch of snow last night and today so I have to wait to do any work. Here is the photo!

Thanks! I have some wider rear fender flares these will go well with. I got to take it out to a property a couple of days ago an it drove great! Could do 65 on the highway with no problem. I think I'm lucky that I don't have the death wobble (knock on wood).
Thanks for reading!

Happy New Year's Eve everyone
Those fit a lot better on the -97's I had to do a bit of cutting and a little fiber glass work. Not bad though. Ill need to pull apart my front end again in summer to repair some fiberglass damage above the radiator. While I had my front end apart some local *** decided my radiator drain plug would be fun to remove... So when it warms up I'm going to give it a good flush. Other than that ,having 0-9 degree weather at nights really stops the build. Plus I have to do some work on my Gator before spring fire season rolls around.
