By the way, the grease fittings were standard size and not metric. Tag: rough country long arm

Got the bumper painted and attached. Definitely adds an unfavorable feel to the Jeep since it is so heavy, but guess it's worth it cause it looks awesome

Also, started painting the 6" rough country springs today. Have quite a few deep gouges, where the plasticky coating is coming off. These things have definitely been on multiple Jeeps

Pulled the cross member from the MJ. Had to do a little cutting from the few spot welds used to secure it in place. Little grinding and won't be able to tell they were there

My new invention...calling it the Pensacola pinion wrench. As an added challenge, I'll be using a 6" long handle wrench to set my pinion preload to spec! Been working out haha

So, took the pinion out of the front Dana 30 axle and the outer bearing slides easily off and on so unable to set a preload. Guess I'm adding a new 4.56 ring and pinion to the shopping list. Anyone know if it's possible to change just the pinion? Don't exactly know the brand or model.
