Thanks! Me too on the progress. I want my lift kit to get here soon. I also ordered a HID conversion last night for my headlights. The plus side of being where I am though, is I get to use the motor pool I work at. If I could ever get the dang camera phone to upload the pictures of the t-case, you could see a bunch of tanks behind the heep

This is the older version that you see all over the place. Supposedly they have some interchangeable parts.
its pretty easy to spot a export model... they usually have amber front blinker and different tail lights then yours... or take pictures of them and i can tell you

So I picked up some free tubing today that my C.O. was going to scrap. I then brought it to the motor pool that I work in and convinced our welder to weld me up a bumper We also have 2 sheets of diamond plate that I may cover it with. I'm gonna try to help him with the build, but he's not real busy right now so it'll probably get built during work hours. I love free stuff

Bumper is almost done. Still waiting on my lift kit.....starting to get annoyed waiting for it. Going on two months now. Any way though, I'm trying to find the front bumper bracket/frame tie in measurements. I know I've seen them on here, does anyone know the thread? I'm to impatient and cheap to order the one's from JCR

It also appears to have a non removable hard top, no windshield hinges, and 6 lug wheels.

We were talking about the Cherokee. Speaking of export models though, does anyone know where to get the Japanese style front end? Those look clean

Well, part of my lift kit is here. I really want to just put what I have on there. I mean, really who needs shocks, new u bolts, brake extensions, new track bar, sway bar disco's. I did however get my new stereo and speakers in.

I got some of the lift installed and its kicking my a$$ so far. The front bolt on the leaf springs didnt do the normal rust inside like everyone elses. But they did both get stuck in the bushings and kept he leafs from falling. So we smoked them out
Then on the front, I'm going by the directions from RC, and now my axel is like 2 or 3 inchs too far back. Which is keeping me from installing new lower control arms. Any one have any ideas of what im doing wrong? I wanna burn it down right now.

What kit did you get? Also, what type of housings? Last thing, love the Abrahams(?) tank in the first picture on that last string of photos with the lift. Rock on and thank you for your service!
