well just an update on her. sold shelly in december before Christmas. bought a wrx. its a fun car, needed something more reliable and better on gas. the xj was fun and we had many good times but drove horrible in the rain, had no room in it due to subs and tools and all other jeep neccesities. but i do plan on getting another xj in the future. once i have a better full time job and get done school and pay off my car. i plan on getting a two door around 95 or 96, auto, hopefully green since theyre my favorite xj color, besids bedliner haha. then eventually regear and put 35s on and chop it to make it a truck. but we shall see. so theres just an update. i still go on the forum every now and then to learn more and talk to some ppl. but this thread wil hopefully come back alive some day. keep jeepin. -4x4turtle

well heres an update. friend i sold it to got in a little fender bender....well frame bender to be exact and Shelly is retired. maybe someone will take parts off her and put them on their jeep. but hopefully i can eventually continue this thread with shelly 2. she will be 2 door straight6 auto. hopefully right hand drive if i can find one. not the newest style but maybe around 95 or 96. then truck it as a project, 4.5 lift with 33's and thatll be my new project/toy. first have to pay my other vehicles off sooooo keep an eye out and maybe youll see another jeep pop up on here

well that one that i looked at on that saturday ^^ was perfect. 4.5" lift 33" MT's. run and drove well. everything was normal and no leaks under it when i met the guy, test drove it for a little, parked it. still no leaks. he said that the rear main will drip oil every now and then but there were no leaks. bone dry. purchased new XJ

Driving it home and come to a red light and see it smoking from underneath. im thinking maybe the oil is dripping off and hitting the exhaust since it does have a small oil leak..nope.. stop at a store, come out and its pouring fluid. thought it was oil, didnt check just drove it home and when i get there its dripping out of trans seal-like the torque converter seal and trans fluids everywhere. prettyyyy angry. call the guy who said it never had a leak before and he said he can give me money for the seals (which are cheap) or give me my money back. didnt feel like taking on the messy and hard work of switching seals on a jeep that i bought 40 minutes ago so met up with him and got my money back. going to swap the titles tomrrow...sooooo then searched until i found something i wanted and just bought a new xj yesterday

havent named her yet but shes a 1994 red cherokee sport with a 1997 cherokee engine, still using obd1 sensors, new motor mounts have to see what kind, Rubicon express 3.5" lift,ARB bumpers. Rock sliders, powertrax rear locker Chrysler 8.25 rear d30 front axle. Rhino lined floor. 32x11.5 bfg at's Cragar soft 8's. Automatic. Kooks header. Magna flow hi flow cat and muffler. Jks quick discos. Stainless steel brake lines. Brand new bfg mt full size spare. i think it might have old man emu shocks on it since theyre yellow and i thought rubicon express had silver shocks but idk. rides AMAZING!! so much softer and nicer then my rough country lift. front fenders trimmed i think and i believe it has the rubber garden type rubber that is for the front flares. looks fine so not compalining.

plans are 2" coil spacers, 2" blocks, CB, cut doors so i can take them off, put a temp gauge in it, steam clean seats cuz theyre horrible, maybe get some seat covers, rhino line rockers, angry eyes of course, maybe paint some teeth on front bumper haha, make a roof rack, and put some lights on it. thats all i can think of now. so now time for pics.

subscribe and watch for updates plz
