yea that's the only issue i've had - the grommets don't hold up. I haven't found a suitable substitute, but the grommets are only like 10 cents at the hardware store so makes sense to just replace them every few months as they fall apart lol

bought a welder today!
found a hobart 140 115v on CL for 400 with the cart and regulator,
gonna do a lot of practicing with it before i actualy weld stuff on the jeep, my first order of business on the jeep will be stiffening up the tire carrier and relocating the liscense plate mount, then weld the flip serts in the wj knuckles

big update
picked up some TNT customs long arms today for 500$ from a part out, joints are all in great shape, just needs a coat of paint
from the same part out i got a np231 with an SYE and some super beefy custom drive shafts for 200$
i also finally managed to install my flowkooler water pump and 195 stant t-stat (never buy a robert shaw t-stat they suck) i threw on a good year gatorback poly belt while i was at it as well, no more leaks and the temp needle wont budge over 210(its also 50* out side so we'll see what happens when it gets warmer, im more than likely gonna buy a champion radatiator soon to theres abunch of sediment and gunk in the radiator so i think theres some blokages in it
the culprit of the leak

g0t the rubber bushings torn out pf the long arms, and the new rubber and flex joint ball in the mail. surprisingly the tnt arms use RE super ride bushings. still gotta take the other flex joint apart then clean and paint the arms. the probably wont go on for a while. i am planning on installing the crossmember, transmission mount, and sye soon.
also gonna plum the new trans cooler and change the fluid my next day off
aside form stuff i already have bought not much is going to happen with this build for a while, moving into my own apartment soon and ill have nearly no money for jeep stuff gotta grow up sometime right
