Didn't drive much longer than a couple of weeks on the dana 30 (didn't even hit a single trail) when I came across a steal of a deal on a Rubi 44. Not really planning on running larger than 35s on this build, but after taking into account selling my 30 it was just too good to pass up. Adding a Solid cover to this one as well as new inner seals, some beef Artec Industries control arm mounts, and a regear to match the 8.8 of course. Going to keep the factory Rubicon locker.

What needs to be done to make it work with your XJ?

Virtually nothing. Just welding on new brackets (because one of the lowers was bent) and hook up the locker

Still need to wire in the LEDs, but quick test fit of the tail light armor.

New custom Adam's driveshaft for the front. Highly impressed with my experience. I gave them measurements and the driveshaft was at my doorstep literally just a few days later.

Yeah, I'm getting a little jealous over here!

The rear tail light armor/housings are awesome! It just bothers me how they don't follow the curve of the rear quarter. Still a great upgrade though!

Trust me, it bothers me too. From the previous photos I've seen I really thought that it did. There is a slight curve to them, but its no where close really. Most likely will be swapping out for the full quarter armor if it keeps bothering me lol. Probably should've just went with that in the first place.

Another upgrade now sitting in the garage that I still need to get on. Decided to go front to back with HD Offroad stiffeners. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Still undecided on steering. I want to keep this thing as streetable as possible so I am leaning towards the Currie Currectlync with a goferit insert on the driver side. Same as on Eric's XJ. Anyone else running this setup?
