Project learning as I go.
Ok well I got my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport in October of last year with the intent of never wheeling it. When I got it the windows had a problem where they would only go up with the driver controls. I looked up the problem and google took me to this website. I joined that day and fixed the window problem the next. Since then I have been doing almost everything on my jeep myself. So here is my build thread, hope you enjoy it.
This last pic is the only pic I have of when it was stock (the day I got it actually).
The first one is with the nerf bars I got off clist for 40 bucks. Me and my girlfriend sanded them down, primed and painted them black.
The second is the bars a bit closer and you can see my bleach white trim.
And the third is my CF stickers
Sorry about the disorder of pics, thats the way they were uploaded

The first week I owned it I got a new head unit (no picks), I wanted it so I could listen to my iPod.
Then Christmas came and I got new speakers and a new Thule roof basket and bike tray.
Here are some pics in the snow, you can see the roof rack in a couple of them. You can also see in the first pick that I used the duplicolor truck bed liner spray can to paint them black.
The night I took the pic in the dark was the night I drove an hour on the highway in 2 inches of snow to get home at 11 PM. I was in 4WD in the whole time, and I was so glad I had my jeep cuz if I was in my old car (ford contour), I wouldn't have made it home.

The next thing that I had done was have the rear springs replaced cuz as you can see it was sagging pretty bad in the back. The reason I didn't just get a lift with full packs is cuz at this point I still wasn't planning on offroading with it. This is before I had them installed

These pics are after I got it out of the garage. I know, I know it was in the garage, but this was something I was not prepared to handle, with the bolts being seized and all. But it looked much better and I road better too. Oh and I also got new Crager Soft 8's for my birthday.

Here is the pic of the new fog lights I put on. My stock ones didn't work and I got these for 10 dollars each at walmart. Then I wired them up to the stock fog light wires. This took longer then expected cuz the stock wires were green and black. And like any reasonable person would think, I thought that the black would be ground. Well it wasn't so I just rewired the wires and it works great.

Now this I where everything changed for me. THis is a pic of the aftermath of my first wheeling trip. Not much of a trip, only like a half hour, and it wasn't hard (never had to take it out of 2H), but boy did I love it. That was the day I knew I was gonna lift it and take it to rausch next year.
