I figured someone would get it!
But seriously folks, the extra holes are just because. I had a few minutes to kill, and even though they won't be seen I think the "lightweight racing holes" just look more gooder.

No progress to speak of, working oodles of OT right now to restock the bank account after Jeep took all my money. My wife sent me this pic, thought it was funny. Replace "truck" with "Jeep" and it would be perfect!

Today is vehicle love day at my house. Washed the wife's new car, washed my car for the first time in about six months, and played with Jeep.
Installed my quick discos, gotta figure how to hold them out of the way since the parts that came with them are to use with the factory skid which I don't have. Should be an easy fix.
Installed my new TC drop spacers. Of course I never paid attention to which way faces out, so the nice smooth sides are in and the ugly cut side is out. SMH. Whatever, they'll be caked with dirt soon enough.
Adjusted toe in from extreme to slight, should be a little better for tire life now. Silly Jeep is always trying to help. It must have thought I was running out of projects with it, because it gave me about 3 new coolant leaks! Thanks Jeep! 1 is at the lower hose, 1 is at a heater hose, and 1 is playing hide and seek.

Apparently Jeep was just being a finicky b***h. I tightened the hose clamp to the heater hose since it was loose, drove 30 miles to work in the AM...not a drop. Drove back in the PM while it was close to 100 degrees...not a drop. Go figure. I will be getting new hoses soon enough though, cheap ins and peace of mind. Speaking of cooling, been looking into hood vents as well. They are now officially on the "to do" list.

Not much building of anything lately. I did hit a local hill after work today, thanks to a friendly tip from a member here. Sorry, went solo so there's no action shots but I plan on taking my son to check it out soon. Here's a nice scenic shot

Went back today with my son, he had fun overall but there was a couple spots where he'd rather watch than participate. For those, I told him to record. Nothing fancy, just some backyard fooling around.

Teaser for some future progress.
I've been looking for the "perfect" hood vents. Not too big, not too small, not too expensive, something that fits the lines of the bonnet. Saw these on the bonnet of a car at work and had to have them for my bonnet.
For those that don't speak Europe, bonnet=hood.
Bonnet vents
Also... Got new radiator hoses, TStat, and gasket. Going to get a new bet too just because it's cheap peace of mind.

Stopped by a dismantler after work specifically for some axle shafts and a used 31" spare. They didn't have shafts, or a 31". Typical of my luck. I did grab an assortment of other do-dads that I need though. TC skid plate, front hooks, window crank, and batt hold down bar thingy. I'll add these to the radiator hoses I need to install.

Nice score....
If your rig didn't have the nutserts to install the transfer case skid...
Here's the link to the nutserts to get installed....
https://www.fastenal.com/products/details/0125658
You can get them cheaper on Amazon but they sell them in bulk....

I had no idea, I'll have to check to see if I need them. Thanks.
Since I'm posting every little item I get for Jeep, finally picked up a full size spare!! Haven't decided if I'm going to stand it up or get a rack to put over it (and lay it down), either way I need to find room to secure other stuff.
