Everything's gone folks, but I will say the Wrangler is coming along nicely.

I know this isn't a Wrangler forum, so I'm sure many may not have interest in my new Jeep. But I'll still keep everyone posted on what I do to it because I love this forum and still want to be a part of it.

Well I have started small so far. The first thing I did when I bought it was add the Rubicon tow hooks to my front bumper. I snapped a deal on the two for $20 shipped and believe they weren't there from the start because there may have been an aftermarket bumper or tow bar on the Jeep when I got it. So the dealer just put a bumper they had laying around on the Jeep for the time being.

I then swaped out the OEM headlights for a set of 5x7 inch round TruckLite LEDs and I also swapped the foglights in the bumper with a set of Morimoto LED foglights:

I have also re-purposed the 50" LED light bar from the Cherokee with some spacers and aluminum Poison Spyder windshield brackets:

I used these nice inter-locking spacers from Xprite:

I carefully drilled some holes along the side of the passenger bracket to make zip tie points for the wire. I then routed it through the cowl and directly to the battery with the harness.

Because of the mounting point for the LED light bar, the windshield wipers were getting hung up on the cooling fins. I downgraded from a 16" to a 14" wiper and it solved the problem. Honestly, it doesn't really make much of a difference in the rain in terms of visibility.

I originated with TruckLite LED headlights, but for some reason I was dissatisfied with the output. I loved them on my Cherokee, but on the Wrangler I couldn't level them out due to some reflector defect leaving the beam projecting too high even when the cut-off line was level between the two headlights, and there was a lot of light throw everywhichway.

So I decided to go with something new. I shelled out a little more dime and went with JW Speaker Evo 2 headlights:

The light throw is great. Very smooth lines. You can see them in the dash cam I installed:

More fun stuff I added, mostly having to do with thermal control and ease of access are:

Limo tint
Full Mopar hard top headliner
Full Mopar Kicker speaker upgrade
Steel grab handles
550 parachord roll bar handles
Red LED lights (just like the Cherokee)
Rugged Ridge LED light bar switch panel for the A pillar
Mopar slush mats
Door theft prevention locks
Remote start

Wow, that's crazy about the trucklites. That's the first time I've heard an ill-spoken word against them. Not saying anything against you, just surprised.
