I banged up my exhaust hanger really bad on Saturday, so today we got a better, more sturdy one, and put it on the Jeep. No more exhaust rattle now!

Tomorrow Solicit is helping me put on a ZJ tie rod. Also in the next week I'm getting my Iron Rock Offroad shackles and I'll have those installed. Then I will start buying skid plates for the underside. Transfer case skid is first, then gas tank skid, and finally new rocker guards. Eventually I will trim the fenders and put on 32 inch tires, and I'll also get a matching spare rim and tire.

We didn't really have the space, or the time to do the shackles tonight. We did get the ZJ tie rod installed, and I'm super happy about that. I'll have my mechanic friend put the shackles on for me later in the week. Here's a pic of the shackles.

Thank you very much! I'm finally getting the IRO shackles installed on Monday. That'll put the rear at 4.25 inches, and the front is at 4 inches. I will be adding some Old Man Emu trim spacers to the front to completely level it out. Next major thing will be getting a TC skid, then new rocker guards. I also would like to get a front bumper with all the trimmings from Nates 4x4. Then I will start saving up for new tires. I will be getting some 33x12.5r15 Hankook Dynapro MT's, plus a matching rim and tire for the spare. That's when I will cut and fold the front and rear fenders, get extended bump stop plates for the rear, and add some hockey pucks to the front for more bumpstopping. After that it'll be time to re-gear, and I'll be going with 4.56 gears. I'm going wheeling on the 29th, so I'll get some more off road pics soon!

Good luck at Wa****a... wish I could make it.. with no up front recovery, spare or armor.. I aint ready! Post some pics if you can.

Yeah, I'll definitely be compensating for the weight of a heavy bumper when I level it out. I'll probably stick to the easy trails on Saturday because I can't really afford to break anything, lol. I'm going to drain and fill my diffs and TC on Monday, so the 4x4 will be all tuned up for the trip. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing how the Jeep rides in the snow this winter!

Well, I got my IRO shackles installed today. Also I had my diffs and TC drained and filled. The oil in the diffs and TC was super dirty and opaque, so it really needed a fluid change. In the pics of the shackles, I know the angle is off, it's just the Jeep is still on the lift so it's pulling the shackle angle forward.

So, as of now here's all the mods/repairs on my Jeep:
Lift:
Front- 3 inch lift coils from Rusty's, and .75 inch coil spacers from RE,
JKS swaybar disconnects, fixed length upper and lower control arms from Rusty's off road, extended bumpstops from Daystar, RE1600 adjustable track bar, RE steering stabilizer, ZJ tie rod.
Rear- 3.5 inch leaf springs from Rusty's, .75 inch lift shackles from Iron Rock off road.
Rusty's hydro, white body shocks all around
Rubicon Express hack and tap SYE for the np242
ZJ drive shaft
Extended stainless steel, braided brake lines front and rear
New radiator, thermostat
New brakes all the way around
New TPS
Full tune up from Accel with new cap, rotor, plugs, and wires
K&N air filter
Napier hood vents
Oil change, all fluids drained and filled (differentials, transfer case, transmission, cooling system because of the new radiator, etc...)
For the holidays, I'll be getting a 2 way Viper alarm, and new speakers installed!
So right now, it's running really nicely, and the suspension is super comfortable, with decent flex. I'm completely broke because of it, but at least I have a rad Jeep!

I just got these in mail... if you're going to be banging on some rocks I'd suggest them for you too:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/120550680052?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
They are stout.. 1/4" thick!
Also alot of people are suggesting rail stiffeners which are needed to firm up the weak unibody. I'm looking at getting them from HD offroad.
And check your steering box spacer.. if you got the factory one I would look to replace that with a stronger aftermarket one.
These are on my short list to do.. might want to consider them as well. Nice job on the build so far!
