Fixed a wire in my harness and my radio works again. I bought a new one cause I wanted to, music over Bluetooth is great. No more aux cable. I wired these bad Larrys on the other day.
55w "trucklite" fogs. They've been sitting around for awhile and it was a good project to kick off jeep season. I have about 5 factory fog light switches that are all melted but I finally found one that works and wired them to that.
They're mounted using the factory fog light mounts, turned around. They even threaded in. Like it was meant to be.
Today I spent like 3 hours cleaning the inside of my jeep. I wanted to put my trim on but it started raining.
Next: -retorque suspension again -Ignition tune up -fix driver's window -fix drivers lock button -fix ebrake -replace interior trim -new wipers -new rear hatch struts

Picked up some neon injectors from d50 here on the forums and spent some time yesterday and today putting them in. It did not go as well as I had hoped, but I got it done and can cross that one off the list.
I can't really say I noticed any difference in performance, but it seems to start quicker and smoother. Hopefully they'll help out a little more when I continue to replace/upgrade old parts

So the jeep is sleepin at work tonight.
Started my jeep then came out and it smelled like gas. Popped the hood and the front injector was leaking from the fuel rail side AND the block side.
I'm really starting to think I need a new fuel rail from the rust issues and the fact that I bent it.
Damnit, nothing goes smooth.

So this morning I replaced the o-ring on the injector in the parking lot at work and it was still leaking.
I had it towed back to my house. First time on a flat bed
Between the fact that my fuel rail is bent and how rusty the inside is I don't think it's going to work in the long term. I'm going to try to source a used fuel rail. I'm not spending $250 on a new mopar one.

Yesterday I ordered a fuel rail from onlyjeepparts.com. It was $74 shipped with injectors and was at my house less than 24 hours after I ordered it (from ME to NH).
I put it in today without any issues and the jeep is back in business.
Old vs "new"
I cannot express how happy with onlyjeepparts.com I am. Basically what they do is dismantle jeeps and inventory the parts. They inspect the parts and give them a grade before selling. I can't wait to do more business with them.
I'm not going to drive the jeep tonight because I'm supposed to be getting my Kolak ignition kit tomorrow so I'll double check my injectors while doing that.
VERY EXCITE!

With the fact that the new one was $250 and I didn't have to go to the jy to pull one myself I was very content with the price of this one. Sure I could've got one for half the price but this was hassle free.

Alright well the injectors seem to be holding up well. I installed Kolak's ignition kit yesterday. My jeep really needed it! I checked the gap on the first plug I pulled and it was at 0.065". I haven't been able to drive it yet because while I was doing that I must have bumped the water pump inlet tube and its leaking now. The tube is super rusted and is leaking at the threads in the water pump. I read that the water pump needs to be removed to replace the tube but I would really rather not.
Next thing to fix

Finally I got that fixed!
Between my schedule and bad weather I haven't been able to work much but I got it back together.
Instead of replacing the tube with the factory part I used a brass pipe fitting and some extra heater hose. It was almost too easy. I finished that up with a coolant flush and it seems to be holding up alright for now. The coolant looked pretty bad. It was well overdue for a flush.
I have some pics I want to add but because of the "parse error" issue with the app I can't upload them because I can't even view my own build thread. I'm on the internet browser on my phone.
Oh also today I attempted to fix my window and lock button. I didn't get much farther than pulling the door panel off and looking at stuff. What a pita both of those look to fix.

Here's those pictures I was talking about.
and a couple others for s+g
I ordered my bump stops last week so I'll be working on those next. I also ordered a putco headlight harness so my cibies will also be in soon, hopefully.

Made some good progress today.
I installed oem front bump stops so that the hockey puck stops I have actually have a purpose.
I also installed Dirtbound offroad's u-bolt plate bump stops in the rear. Very happy with the setup in the back. The plates are beefy and the rear bumps look like they will function great.
Also I installed my putco headlight harness along with my Cibié headlights! I haven't had a chance to test them yet, but tonight we shall see. I also haven't aimed them either, I'll get around to it soon.
Oh and I broke my axle side swaybar mount off while wheelin the other day, so I zip tied the sway bar up out of the way.
I didn't get a chance to fully flex out with the bump stops in place yet so I'm very interested to see how they work out and if any adjustments need to be made. I did see that my brake lines max out before my shocks do in the front so I definitely need some longer lines. The steering stock steering also limits flex a lot in the front.
Next I think I'll tackle my motor and trans mount.

I'm so glad that it's finally warm out. All the quality time with the Jeep has been great.
My headlights are 1000x better than stock. I was very impressed with the results. No picture yet. Last night I actually had the issue of the high beams not shutting off when you go back to low beams. I googled it when I got home and found out I just needed to pull my fog light relay.
Today I painted the Lund visor I have laying around. It was on a Cherokee, but it's actually for a blazer so it doesn't fit quite right. I'm going to trim the edges up and see if I can make it work.
I also reinstalled a bunch of trim, mounted my fire extinguisher, and went through everything I have in the back to organize it.

Haven't been working on the jeep much, but I have been wheelin plenty! The jeep does better with 3.55s and 35s than I thought it would, although I still wish I could regear now.
Did 80 on the highway! My speedo said 70 haha.
Also wheeled up a local mountain. This is a spot that my friend's parents would tell us about how they used to party there 30 years ago. Well, we found it. Up this old *** trail that looked like nobody had been up there in ages and it was SICK.
Oh also I rigged up a flag mount haha.
I have this whole pile of parts waiting to be installed. I want to get my motorcycle running before I tackle all of this though.
-Brown Dog motor mounts
-new trans mount
-B&M trans cooler
-B&M trans temp gauge with pillar mount
-Boostwerks t-case shift linkage
-JCR steering box spacer
-JCR front frame plates (gunna try to make custom d ring mounts off these)
-USA Standard chromos for the front
-YJ front brake lines
-new fan clutch
-new hatch supports and wipers
And if I get to it and still have motivation I would like to do my rear disc swap.
