The lift went pretty smooth glad my xj spent it's life in Tennessee. I started with the on blaster right when I bought it 3 months ago. Only snapped two bolts, they were the passenger side rear shock bar pin bolts. Knocked them out with an air hammer and replaced with grade 8 bolts and lock nuts. All said and done with breaks and a slight case of ocd checking everything 10 times was about 12 hrs.

Does anyone know whats causing my bump steer? its pretty bad after the lift. I have the JKS trackbar installed and the axle is centered. Im going to double check the angle of the drag link tommorow but i dont know why that would be the issue. The trackbar is for 3-6 inches of lift...

Could be a bad tie rod(s) or a blown stabelizer. My bump steer was caused by the track bar. I needed the drop bracket since I used a drop pitman arm.

Well my bump steer has gone down since my lift install. I've got about 100 miles on it and is way more controlled driving now. Picked up some sway bar bushings off amazon for $10. Nice to find some cheap parts every now and then.

Got more toys in the mail today. I couldn't get my xj into 4 low before and now after the lift I can't get it into 4 wd full time either. Instead of messing with the original pile of junk I got a much better alternative (hopefully). The price was right and shipping was quick. I will let you know how the install went.

Well finally got done dealing with this linkage. Luckily the linkage didn't cause me any grief it actually went in quite easy. The instructions are less than ideal but the is a picture of what it looks like so I just made mine look like that. The issues came from the stupid little bolts and what I can only assume are threaded rivit nuts?!? Idk but only a few were held in tight enough to remove the bolts so a vise grip was required to hold them from the bottom side. After ripping those rivit things out I installed new bolts with real nuts and washers. Made a huge difference I think cause that lever is pretty solid. Anyway the linkage works great the shifts are smooth and positive I can easily stop at ever position with ease now. Greatest part is I can put it in 4 low for the first time now!!here are some pics
