For everyone else that is watching my bulid... after the junkyard the weather hasn't been too good to do anything, and my daily driver car ( dodge stratus) died on me on the road heading home... had to install new alternator, and batter, and as I was already fixing things I replaced the blower motor resistor...
I found some really great pieces off the junkyard cherokees... they need to be cleaned and installed but got tail light guards, both side mirrors, both side door handles replacement, rear wiper arm, manual crank handles x2, and a cig outlet...
It started to rain as I was working but I replaced the hydraulic arms to the back hatch because when i bought the jeep i had to put the door on the tire to get the back to stay open and removed the sway bar to clean it up and figure out a way to place it back that the disconnects stop hitting the coils

Having problems with the temp. On the jeep... starts off in the red and as I continue to leave it sit it raises to the 260 number and sometimes passes it... gotta fix this... I remember reading on another forum from cruiser that it could be the coolant resourvir... we'll see on friday when I buy a new one...

Since I'm waiting till payday I decided to do other things to the jeep that I got from the mail
The first is my zombie permits... they look awesome and grab attention.. got them off amazon if anyone wants to know... search them out....
The other is very Important... since I bought the car I haven't been able to lock it.. driver side door looked like someone tried jamming a philips and the passenger just didn't open... thanks to desertdog write up on replacing it, it was a snap

Well guys couldn't do much since I'm still waiting for the 13th to come but I replaced the coolant cap from the oem cap to the napa one (703-1396) crusier54 said...
and then I started to disconnect cables and and wires under the dash and some in the engine... used electric cleaner and a wire brush them... connected everything together and bam! My guages started minus the oil pressure and gas... but coolant, battery, spedometer, and the rpm work...
So with that great news I checked all the fluids, got the jeep ready and took it to its first bon fire/ mudding event and it did outstanding except that the tailpipe fell off and is now resting on the axle...

I just installed a new bracket and mounted it up a little higher. Never had another issue after that.
