yesterday my boyfriend installed his old dynomax cat-back on my jeep and its amazing how quiet my jeep is without all the leaks and tailpipe banging around (broken hanger) and now it has a nice sexy rumble to it inside and out...also cleaned out the interior today and made a list of all the broken interior pieces i need....also took it on the highway and have a little vibe so got to figure it out

been awhile but been trying to do maintenance and so far we did front pads+rotors which desperately needed doing front sway bar links and bushings and a new steering stabilizer which fixed the wandering it was doing, rear driveshaft u-joints which turned into a bolt breaking in the yoke and my bf needing a friends help/ lots of muscle/ and a torch to switch out, and the t-case fluid...

last night drove for the first time in the snow in 4wd and it was fun and easy cause its a Jeep...lol

coming up for maintenance is rear diff fluid and rear wheel bearings and seals, front diff fluid and maybe front hub bearings, valve cover gasket, and some steering parts...

finally got a full set of JK Rubicon shocks for my budget boost these ones have 2200miles and cost $30 now just to get u-bolts and some new stock shackles and we can begin the lift...

Well have some bad news my jeep was going great with nice new upgrades like a Spectre cowl snorkel, bored throttle body, and upgraded injectors off my bf's xj, also new BugDeflector and vent visors that he bought me...

then a while after that on april 5th i was driving home and i got t-boned by someone who says they didnt see me and left a stop sign which totaled my jeep...so no more jeep for me RIP

so i'm baaaaaaack!!!
alot has happened since ive been on here. Ive healed since my car accident that took Destinys life... i had a 2003 vw beetle for a time until i bought my fiances 2002 vw jetta TDI for the gas milage...oh and i said FIANCE! Cuz its true! mcguyver_xj purposed to me on our 7 yr anniversary March 16th this year. It was awesome, unexpected and amazing. I couldn't ask for anything better and we didnt even do anything too speacial that day, just went to the mall, relaxed at home, and were planning on eating out. But i guess i was having such a good time and loved just being with him that even without a ring, (he used my old ring from a birthday gift two years before that but i told him he could never surpass that ring anyway) and purposed. It was beautiful and i wouldn't trade that day or him for that matter for anything else in the world. But...enough babbling about my happy life, it got better with jeeps again. before my accident, he was parting his red xj, not wanting jeeps at the time but shortly after this year he wanted one again and picked up a pretty well equipt 2000 blue cherokee with a 5.5 inch lift, some great parts already on by previous owner and 33inch tires. It was amazing to have a jeep again and i even thought of trying some trails myself. if i cant have a jeep i figured i might as well try places in his jeep with him so i could at least try and have the help. i was hooked when i was able to try a semi difficult part and got up it fine (rather then scratching/denting the whole right side) but since then i've been wanting to do more, even wanting a jeep. this is his:

So i wanted one and we were looking for a sliver or a white one at that time. We went to a stag/wheeling event and saw a purple xj and i fell in love. Purple being my favorite color, i just didnt like the xj purple until i saw it in person and i know i needed it. It took a while but we found one, and steve being the crazy guy he is said he would buy me one if he were to ever find one. well here she is.Name: 20141012_133034.jpg

I love how it was actually purple and the paint still sparkled. Reason the guy was selling it was the messed up front end from his son rear ending a car. She has a black eye, needing a header pannel, headlight, turn signals and fender. He noticed the frame was a little tweaked but believes it is fixable. cross fingers, lets hope he can take out the steering box and plate it, find the parts so she can be put back together and lifted. the damage:

plans: 4in lift
purple accents all underneath
gas/tcase skid plates
and being able to wheel with the love of my life in my own vehicle will be a dream to me and i know his as well. ill be a full JEEPACORN

Our trail damage, a camandche and some cool rocks. It was nothing we could compare down where we live. Even some of the easy areas were harder then we thought. Planning on bringing mine next yr and the first day doing easy/class six roads then the next day going with stephen to the med/hard courses. Cant wait.
