Just finished reading this whole thread lol. Took me 4 days worth of breaks and lunches to do it but I have to say thanks for all your OCD and pictures and walk-throughs. This is going to help me out a ton when I tear into my xj! So again, Thanks!

Stretched the jeeps legs this weekend at a local yearly Meet & Greet. Did great - no issues whatsoever.

Also picked up some used RRO HD shackles with new bushings - so i'll rebuild those soon and throw them on the lift the rear up to match the front (hopefully)

Anyways, here are some photos:

Brian is nuts for taking his 4 runner out there but it do great. As for the Commando, did they find out why her rear tire started making contact on the flare.

Dunno. Usually when I see that happen it means a broken centering pin in the leaf pack, so i'm gonna go with that

I would agree. My thought was when she got caught of the tire obstacle and her front tires spun her and the rears got caught

hey man, danger cart is looking awesome. I got a question on the v8 tie rod swap. I went to the junk yard in my area this past weekend and I saw a few of them but they all look like ****. my question is, is there a tie rod end for the connection on the y to the drag link? or is there only one tie rod end on the other side?

just go to advance or auto zone for the swap parts. TREs are hit or miss at the JY. The tie rod is two pieces. Solid at the Y, then you have the adjuster and then the TRE at the driver wheel.

So it is solid at the y? I would def get a new TRE and an adjuster. was more worried bout the y connection. thanks for the reply man.
