Thanks! I'm also thinking of doing a fuse block like you did to keep the future accessory wiring clean. Saw some on Amazon, did you get anything special or will any fuse block work? Looking at something like this http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000VU...1jL&ref=plSrch

I just got a 5 bay fuse block from O'Reilly's it was like 10 bucks and has bottom terminals. Lemme find a link to it.

Fuse Block

They are modular as well, so if you slide off the screw tab on the side you can clip together multiple blocks in a row.

Edit: Got confirmation from Partsgeek.com, Brown Santa should be stopping by next week.

Is it bad that I don't want to be at work today, because I know I'm getting parts in the mail, and I wanna be home to open them?

Those can be the worst days at work. I remember coming home from work or even school to see a UPS "we missed you" sticker on the door. Couldn't have been more frustrated. Glad I live where they can just leave the packages now.

Because of the thread title, I immediately thought of Brad Pitt, in the movie, Se7en.

Box was supposed to contain a header panel, grille, turn signal assemblies, and headlight surrounds. When I got home from work I realized how bad the box had been put together. It looks like it was packed by a drunk child, like they had assembled the box from flat cardboard and just taped everything. Out of the 6 parts I ordered, I received 5. Passenger side headlight surround was missing from the box, drivers side was cracked. Needless to say not happy with parts geek right now.

Rockauto is your friend.

I order from them all the time, and I have never been disappointed.

Ya I should have checked there first, they have all the parts for the same prices I paid on partsgeek. Oh well there's always next time, and thinking back on it I should have ordered the parts for a 97+ and done the panel swap.

All the parts came as a black plastic and I honestly kind of like the front section as black, makes the Jeep look meaner. I'm debating leaving them as is, or painting them in black bedliner.

Edit: I did install all the parts I received, I'll post pics tonight when I get back to the house. The cracked drivers headlight surround wasn't damaged very badly, so I super glued it back together and it looks fine. As for the passenger side, my stock surround was still fine it was just chrome, so I dipped it. Probably not the best idea considering it was 55 deg outside when I did it and dip does not like to dry at those temps, had to get a blow dryer and hand dry it. I need to do another coat but by the time I got done it was getting dark and I needed to get back up the hill, wife and I are watching the In-Laws house while they are gone.

So update on the front end parts saga, Partsgeek apparently doesn't want to bother getting me the part I paid for and just refunded the part cost, shipping, and tax for that particular item with no response to my support email. How bad is that customer service?

It doesn't bother me that much I'll just sand and paint my stock chrome one flat black and it'll look fine. The one thing that I'm most pissed about is the header panel, its literally 1-2% smaller than it should be so it does not fit properly and everything that bolts to it feels like a squeeze. I may have to make a JY parts run and just bite the bullet and do a 97+ panel swap, my local u-pull-it has like 6-7 97+ XJ's just sitting there.

I come from a family of carpenters and mechanics, I tend to get inventive when I'm pressed for time. A few weeks ago I needed a new tool cart and harbor freight had one on sale for like 120, I looked at it and knew it wouldn't last a year. So for the price of lumber, drawer slides, caster wheels, and a new drill, I built myself a tool cart for half the price. And this thing is beef, used 75 lb casters so it can handle about 300 lbs. Drawer slides are rated for 20 pounds each. I'll post some pics when I get home tomorrow.
