Got the Efan mounted with some slight persuasion. Winch wired in as well and ready to pull me out of whatever. Also got the driveshaft shortened a tad, just have to weld and brace it and it should be good to go

Picked up a temp gauge, stuff for a much needed oil change, spare shafts for the Dana 44 swap as well as some rotors, and a lunch box locker that'll have to go into a different carrier. Shafts all welded back together, just need to throw it in and tweak the alignment and take it out for a spin this weekend

Ordered my 5x5.5 to 5x4.5 adapters for the full width 8.8! Everything else is in my cart waiting on my tax return to gear it all!

Spent too much time waiting on the kid to get the Dana 44 pulled to get the parts he needed from it, so I found a different 44 that I'll be picking up today. Has new ball joints coming with it and a home made truss installed that im gonna try and see if I can salvage with all the brackets and such I have to install on the axle. I'll get some pics up here once I get off work and pick it up

I've had the rear for awhile and was just waiting on the front. Picked it up for $50. Needs some work, but it'll do! Just need gears now

Shakedown run when great! Found about 1ft+ of crusty snow and pulled through it for a bit before having to run line. Pretty impressed with this lil 4 banger. Now to start beefing things up to I can have some fun

Loaded the axle up to take it over to my place to start the process of getting it ready for the jeep. Took a bit of a rough measurement so I have an idea of what's going where and what may need some modification. Most of the cheapo homemade truss is staying just because they are hard to find for dodge Dana 44s. Need to replace an axle shaft, get the proper carrier to run 5.13s, order gears and rebuild kits, the cable actuated disconnect to replace vacuum disco, and I found a pinion yoke that'll accept a 1310 u joint so I don't have to make a bastard joint. Bit of work ahead, but should be well worth the outcome

Started marking up the axle to prepare cutting everything off and welding in something a lil more accommodating. Started to snow and got a bit late so decided to head out and hit some trails again tonight. All went smoothly til I decided to play on some hills and found some really hard pack snow. Heavy winds packed it down solid, thankfully the winch was more than enough to yank her out

Finally getting around to adding the 2" drop shackles. Should help keep the tires outta the fenders lol. Got the easy side done, now to pull out the torch and do the hard side.... it's all leveled out at about 7". 8" coils in the front and 4.5" springs with 2" drop shackles.

Went out again tonight to see what all finishing the rear lift got me. All in all a much better ride. Just need to bumpstop accordingly and I should be fine! But I'll wait on that til the axles are under it

Made a start on getting the d44 ready.. still have to work on the ugly truss that was on it when I got it, but it looks better than it did when I picked it up haha

Started figuring out how the brackets are gonna sit on the d44 and pulled the 8.8 out of hibernation to thaw out in the garage for a bit
