Project '98 Sport
I am starting with the typical '98 Sport with a cheap 3" lift, ugly wheels and 3" nerf bars that the previous owner installed. All coming off this weekend and will be replaced with the following parts....
Front axle - HP30, ARB locker, 4.88 gears, WJ knuckles and brakes rotors, trussed, skid protection on lower control arm brackets.
Rear axle - Chrysler 8.25, ARB locker, 4.88 gears, Chromoly axles, ZJ disc brakes.
Lift - Currie Johnny Joint 4.5" lift - full kit including upper and lower control arms, HD track bar with bracket, lift coils and leaf springs. Custom 3 link long arm is in work along with Fox shocks.
Additional parts to be fabbed in the near future....
Front winch bumper with stinger
Rear tube bumper
Rockers/sliders
As for wheels and tires, I'm going to test fit a set of Allied beadlocks with 35x12.50r15 MTR-K's to see if I have to trim a bunch. If so, I might go with 33's instead.
Here's a couple pictures of what it looked like when I bought it. I will post updated pictures as the build progresses.

Got the old axles and suspension removed (first picture) and got the upgraded axles and new Currie RockJock suspension installed. Just have a few little things to button up like e-brake cables and brake hoses then its wheels, tires, bumpers and sliders.

Made some progress with only a few more things to do before I can wheel it. Not sure on the wheels and tires....I will more than likely go with something else.

Picking up a front bumper tomorrow and then its time to flex it out, check bump stops, do some mild trimming and then install shocks. I will try to take some better pictures along the way.

Picked up a used bumper to throw on until I decide on which bumper to run. Still waiting for the shocks to arrive and then I will be able to ramp it to make my final adjustments on bump stops. Final trim will come after I swap the wheels and tires. Front flares are just hanging on and not attached. I haven't decided whether or not I am going to trim and reattach these, go with Bushwackers or just go without flares.
