Year: 1993 YJ Wrangler
Engine: 4.0 I6
Default And Now For Something Completely Different - Clown's YJ Build

Bought: 13 July 2013

1993 YJ Wrangler Sahara
4.0L I6
32RH automatic
D30/D35 with 3.07s
3.5" Black Diamond lift
33x12.5x15 BFG KMs
129,500 miles

To start, here's the direct link to the story of the Comanche's demise:
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/re...0/#post2541422

When I got word that the MJ was totaled, I decided to buy a YJ. The specs above are 'stock' to me, being how I bought it.

The biggest problems I currently have with it are:
1) Full hard doors that I can't legally remove until I buy a mirror.
2) Inverted shackle up front. Soon replacing all four with boomerang shackles.
3) TC drop, but it drives nice and smooth.

The pictures I have so far will be in the next post.

Yep.
Steering wheel cover is off, keyless entry system removed, and the fog light wiring has been removed cause I'm gonna take off the remaining light.

I have a set of mirrors that may work. They shake a lot.

I'm very happy with it for now. I'm gonna be focused on fixing things and mild changes for a while since I'll be making payments on the loan.

As for lift and tires, I know I want Metalcloak arched front fenders, and they allow 35s with no lift. That means I have the option of putting on something like 42s with those fenders (also requiring new axles), or I could lower the Jeep a little and still install 35s or 37s.

I haven't decided on the future yet, but I'm content right now.

I like them more than KM2's, which have done me well.
