It's the only thing that bothers me about my Jeep... Rust. And seeing that it can be dealt with is awesome. Great job!

Fun stuff huh! Took a break on my floor to finish my degree (next week), but you are doing a good job. I totally gutted the interior on mine, only thing without rust was portions of the trans tunnel.

Perfect example of why I hate Bondo. Jeep was hit in drivers side at some point in its life and a terrible body shop did this genius repair. This may have jeopardized the entire build...

Not lost at all. Cut out the rocker and but a 2x5 or 2x6 in. If your inner rocker is messed up, just use a flat stock or angle to recreate it. Look at how I did mine, I had rust up front on the inner and it worked like a charm.

Thanks ArmyGuy. I saw your setup and I like it. I may just do something similar

Inner rocker is done. I used 16 guage steel and but welded to the existing rocker after cutting all the rust out. Now It needs sanded down so it looks like one piece and painted

Looks good man! you doing 2x6 rockers? Some guys use angle iron welded on the inner rocker to support the 2x6, I suggest going that route if you do it. You obviously can weld and fabricate so take your time and do i right. I am in year 2 of mine, but it will be one of a kind when done.
