If you want a cheap catalytic converter I got a magnaflow high flow cat for a little over $100 on amazon, it said it was direct fit for the cherokee

The only thing is that the o2 sensor hole in the cat. Is not threaded so you have to thread it yourself. I learned that the hard way

So I got my new catalytic converter thanks to triplets_red_xj for recommending it.

A magnaflow part number 23226

My old one was absolutely shot. Giving me about 8 mpg lol

Nelly The Purple Jeep-uploadfromtaptalk1389150796763.jpg

Of course had to separate my muffler and cat so after some banging and cursing nothing happened so I brought out the big guns

Made quick work of it

Air hammer did nothing so back out came the torch

And voila.

Nelly The Purple Jeep-uploadfromtaptalk1389151131446.jpg

I'll probably add a turn down soon since it doesn't line up with the pipe out back but it does sound very nice though

Also found out my track bar tie rod end is bad yet again.. Damn rc.. I'll probably get an IRO double shear later on. Also found my LCA are bad whoopee. I want long arms eventually so I'll just stick them for now.

Same here. Last time it ripped off I was in this creek bed and ran over this old bridge piece of concrete and ripped it off then drug it in the mud. Then Lowrange2 kindly use some of his hose and try to clean out a muffler and cat packed slam full of mud.
