It was a great weekend, we're already talking about going down every 2-3 weeks this summer. Only 2/3 rank of gas for the truck towing it down so it's worth it. Nothing hard though so breakage will be rare too.
Funny story, we found an atv trail that somehow we squeezed that 1/2 ton gmc up and about a mile up we made camp, far enough far the trail that we wouldn't see anyone. Well a guy and his mom in their jk come up, we say hello and not 200 feet later he pops his sidewall with no spare.. he called a buddy but had to wait 3 hours for him to get to us so they hung out with us for the time

I've been wanting to forever it's just now that I got the truck I can really start to screw around with it.
I might be having to do some engine work soon though.. I've been burning through oil and sometimes my idle oil pressure is around 10. I know acceptable is something like a minimum of 17 psi but we'll see. Maybe I can make this engine last until I can afford to put in a 5.3 or a 6.0

Bought 5 Hummer H2 wheels online for $200 from a guy with some crappy 315 tires mounted on them. Busted them down and tossed the tires then bored out the wheels to fit over my new axles.
The little lip you'll have to grind off
Baam made easy work of that
Whole lot of shavings
My 3 blade with end bearing bit i used in a 1/4 router that fit perfectly inside the wheel. Set the bearing to ride above the lip which gave me a perfeft cut.
My tire machine was pushing its limits trying to mount these. I had to have a buddy help even and i only brought one to the shop because i didn't even know if i could do them lol. Those are 20s mounted on 32 inch tires for comparison..

Well first you're going to swap the distributor from your new truck to the monster truck and see if it runs. Then after it runs yow going to burn new tabs on your axle and toss it under then give me my 14 bolt!

I bored all 5, figured why not. Everything I've been told tells me they're lug centric anyway.
The mud days are done, for the most part. Damn that stuff is fun but a pain in the ***.. really it was all I had around here though but now I got a truck and trailer so I'm fine traveling
