Well I say it like that as more of a joke than anything. But yes i get financial aid to pay for my school. After all my school is paid for, the rest is given to me to do as i please as a refund. Its not free money, i do have to pay i back when i graduate

You aren't getting a "refund". That is called a loan if you have to pay it back. I was just curious if I was funding your build with my tax dollars.

At least it's not his welfare check.
Most kids would blow this "extra" money at the bar

It's considered a refund from my loan of the overpay for my school. I can either pay it back then or keep it and just add it to my loan owed amount. You should be more concerned about the people with food stamps that can now spend them on candy and fast food

Believe me, I am concerned about the handouts our wonderful government are so generously giving out.

I am not trying to pick on you. The title of your thread caught my attention. I was just curious what the deal was.

I understand, believe me, being largely conservative i dont like hand outs and if i was using this money before paying for school or if it was given away freely i would be ashamed but im held accountable for all the money i take so i just made the title to be humorous and get peoples attention which i guess it did haha
