My XJ Build... fueled by financial aid refunds
So I finally sold my heep of a sploder
And got this thing for $1900
So first thing I did was try to fix the exhaust manifold because it ticked...
Anyway in the meantime I had ordered this!
Yea buddy, took me 2 days to put it on myself working a few hours each day. Kinda scary to do it yourself when your rear axle falls off both jacks and its hanging by your brake lines but they didn't break!

Well this is how my lift came out, that jack is holding up my Tranny for the tcase drop that I got off ebay haha.
and this is how my jeep looked before and after compared to my friends lifted nissan hardbody
Oh yea, another mod I had already done by this time is a flowmaster exhaust. Always number one in my book.

So now I'm sittin there one day wishing I could buy my pro comp wheels and 32" tires I'm going to get but because I'm broke I figured I might as well go cut my fenders. With nothing other than my trusty sheet metal sheers... Yea no joke!
So I went to work, the front came out decent
The rear however.... Well I didn't really pay attention to any of the write-ups, only read the front fender parts and hoped the rear was the same, and decided to force myself to cut the whole fender and tear it apart...
Well luckily I had plenty of this stuff laying around since I live at the beach
And this is what I slapped up there, before cleaning it up. I did clean it up pretty well after this but I didn't take a pic.
BY THE WAY I did the rear correctly on the other side just to clear it up. Only made this mistake once.
Any way once I finished all my fenders I threw some plasti dip I had laying around on all my cut fenders after I repainted them just to have something protecting them until I bedline them which is coming soon!

Just a little update. I bedlined the sides and reattached the trim after I bedlined them too. I also trimmed the fender flares and reattached them. Theyll be bedlined soon too. Coming up this week is adjustable track bar, brand new exhaust manifold, motor mounts, new tie rod, and hopefully bullethole rims and 32's. Also gotta fix my rear diff.
