My very slow build
Project helga or bertha can't decide on her name. Ok I got my xj this last fall. Just today I got it semi sorta running. Took it to my uncles to weld the holes shut up on the roof. So it will quit leaving a lake inside. I used silicone to seal it after I got it. First pic is after we cleaned the holes.
This pic is when my uncle was welding on the roof.
More pics coming on monday. What we did is cut a square piece of metal to cover the hole on the inside of the cab. I held it in place with a flat blade screwdriver while he tacked them in. Then he ran a bead around the hole. Now I just gotta grind it down and bondo the middle so it will look like factory. This was for the bigger outside holes. The smaller ones he just welded them shut. Sorry about the phone pic I don't own a digital camera just yet.
