Well guys, many of you are familiar with my original build thread, and if you havent seen the recent updates, it was totalled on my way to school on tuesday the 21st. My dad and I picked this new one up today for 2500. Can't wait to start building again! It's a 95 automatic with about 5" lift full leafs and shackles. It has Dana 35 rear so that's going in the dumpster. It has 34/10.50/16 swampers (will sell with the 16" wheels) and get 35/12.50/15
I am under the impression that this thing is geared already, because it's pretty quick for having 34s. Will get more pics in daylight tomorrow but wanted to start build thread right away

Got some plans for the 3 day weekend. Starting tomorrow, I'm gonna clean the brakes up and replace the pads. Im gonna throw my rack up top, Then I'm gonna pull off some plastic and do some trimming. Gotta do the rear quarter cut and fold to make my tire swing fit. Wired my kenwood deck today and gonna wire amp tomorrow. Also threw my light bar up top but havent wired them.

Today I fixed my rusty a pillar. Sanded it down with 220, then 320, then 600. Masked and sprayed with primer. Now I have to go find some white that is close to factory white. Then this afternoon I started on my front bumper. It's made of 1/8 inch and 3/16 extra stuff I had. The mounts are 3/8. May add recovery eventually

Ya wierd hearing 34! Even worse is that they're for a 16" rim which is uncommon for jeep. I want rid of these so bad haha

I sprayed my corner lights with VHT nightshade. Did 3 heavy coats so they're nice and dark. Also cut my fenders and rear quarter. I cut past the spot welds but will weld in a new wheel well sometime. Also just cut off the rear quarter rather than cut and fold. Gonna try to fit my rear bumper now

Thank you it's like your building my jeep right in front of me =D yours is very close to the way I want mine to be. the only exception is the tires. I want some KM2's and i'm putting more lights around the roof rack up top 2 in the rear and one on each side!

Haha yes these tires suck! Hopefully I'm getting some insurance $$ this week and as soon as I do I'm gonna get 35/12.50/15 KM2s and 15" black wheels instead of 16

Did you go with an older xj just because you found a good deal, or because of another reason? Glad you found another xj, your build is looking great. Keep up the good work.

Kinda because it was a good running jeep in white again for cheap. However I have always like the older models, but I do miss my 97 interior

Had to replace my pass side axle ujoint yesterday. Damn that project sucks. After smacking it plenty of times, I had to cut the ***** out and one HARD smack with the BFH popped out the caps. I can't imagine doing one on the trail :O. Anyways it's all fixed and drivable now. Got my temp tags too
