Oh and I went to watch a football game where our team got wrecked...We lost like 42-8 or something, yet still more people show up to football games than they do at soccer games (where we have state champion titles)

Huh...I think maybe it's only the under-coil spacers that are illegal? Our laws here are so vague that it's all up to who gives you your sticker...I know the frame height laws are set and dry, but laws that say a muffler can't make "excessive" noise is extremely vague. So is the law that says that the bumper can't be modded to allow "less protection" and the one that says that "original suspension can't be disconnected." That last one is rediculous, or at least is worded ridiculously because there's no way I'm safer with my sagged, cracked springs than with modest (but brand new) lift springs. Ugh whatever. Nobody seems to get caught on much other than needing to put fender flares back on...

Welp, if anyone's reading this, I have a 3" lift coming in the mail...scheduled to arrive tomorrow...In the mean time, I've helped my dad on his f150. We did flood lights on the Thule rack, a Smittybilt bullbar, and a Cobra CB radio. I plan on a CB in the future on my Jeep, especially now that we know how to install one and we have a tuner/scanner thing.

Haha thanks but my dad's friend will hopefully be doing it, as I have absolutely no mechanical experience and I use the Jeep just about every day, so we need it done in a weekend haha

My thoughts exactly. I did mine with absolutely no experience, minimal tools and a hell of a lot of rusty nuts and bolts. It took me around 16 hours of straight work time when I did it but I was able to drive it the next day and grab some bigger tires for it. Now I have had just about every part of the steering-suspension off and replaced (on my own) and I feel fearless while driving off-road because I know exactly how it all goes together. Best decision i ever made with my Blue monster.

Eh we thought about it, but we just aren't prepared to tackle it...I'm still in school and sports and music with no other vehicle. We don't even have a floor jack or jack stands...
