Thanks! I love how it rides and it has a nice aggressive stance too. I went with the RE super ride and I modified shocks from a JK rubicon to fit the xj. It's definitely a stiffer ride than stock but I like it a lot.

I went to the junkyard with my brother today and picked up a whole new set of seats! Normally I would be hesitant about junkyard seats because they tend to be pretty gross, but these are in great shape. And the cherokee had only been in the junkyard for about a week. I got them mostly because they have adjustable headrests and they're a little darker color than my current ones. Anyway, I'm gonna clean them up and put them in this weekend

I installed my new seats over the weekend. I deep cleaned the new seats and the carpeting with upholstery/carpet cleaner before I put everything back in. I love the seats and my car smells brand new, which is great. On a side note, I found a french fry in between the driver seat and the center console. The only reason this scared me was because I've never eaten fast food in my car...lol
the old
nice and clean
the new
btw, my old seats are for sale, so if you are interested let me know!

just another update for today...
I finally got a real start on my roof rack! I wasn't able to start it at school because I didn't have enough time to do a good job on it, so I bought an old lincoln welder and decided to do it at home. I got the base done today. Tacked, welded, and the top ground down. I'm going to use the JCR gutter mounts to mount it, but I am wondering how to weld them on in the right position/angle so they fit on the jeep correctly?
these nice corner clamps helped get everything nice and square
here's some of my welds
and ground down

No prob man! But yeah 4.5 and 33's just freaked out about the 33's and stock gears it's not that bad but it's not great either but it also how hilly your area is like I live in Nevada so there's no hills here except for downtown, and the headliner looks pretty cool, you got that off eBay?!

yeah that should be doable. 33's always look really nice! You can always regear later too, and yep i got the fabric for the headliner on ebay. it just came in a big roll and then i glued it to the old headliner board

today I got the top portion of the roof rack done, so I just have to weld on the short 4 inch pieces that will put the bottom and top together. I also got the gutter mounts welded onto the rack. I ended up moving the trailer out of our back yard and pulling my car back there and welding the mounts on with the rack sitting on the roof. It worked pretty well and I'm happy with it because I was able to be very precise with lining it all up. I have pics but I will post them later!
