The lift kit is finally installed! It took much longer than expected and I ran into about every problem I could possibly think of...and then some. The lift itself was done by about last thursday, but I bought an adjustable track bar from a forum member and had to wait for it to come, so it wasn't driveable until last night. It runs pretty good though. I'm getting some minor driveline vibrations when I decelerate from about 35-30, so I'm hoping a 1 inch t-case drop will take care of that. If not I'll have to get an sye and what not....

Here's a picture of the finished product. I got around 4 inches of lift and it leveled out nicely too.

I'll post some better pics later and I'll go over some of the real struggles with it...like having to use a 5 foot pipe on a 2 foot breaker to break some bolts loose

The next step is new tires. I was thinking about 32's but I think I'm going to stick with 31's because it's more common and should sit nicely under my 3.5 inch lift. Discount Tire is having their 4th of July sale this weekend so I can get $200 off rims and tires! I just can't decide between BFG KO's and Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs...

32's are what RE recommend with that kit. Honestly I have 31's and the same lift and it won't fully stuff. Just my .02. Good luck.

With factory gearing I would stick with 31's. The lift looks great!

Thanks! I'm not too worried about stuffing because I have some bushwacker flares waiting to be put on. I'm mostly worried about 32's with stock 3.55 gears...

I decided to go with 31's... I just ordered the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs on black Cragar Soft 8's from Discount Tire Direct. After rebates I'll get the wheels and tires for about $680, which I don't think I could ever beat again!

Thanks everyone! I'm currently in the process of installing a 1" transfer case drop. The studs and one of the bolts came out real easily, but then my impact wrench broke the last bolt! I couldn't believe it. So I tried a bolt remover but that snapped in half (luckily I was able to get it out). And I finally just decided to resort to drilling it out completely and retapping the hole to 7/16". I'm at work now so I had to take a break, but I've already gone through about 4 drill bits, even with stepping it up a little bit. I picked up a new bit that should be stronger so it should hopefully work. I'm pretty sure I've spent more on drill bits/cutting wheels for this lift than anything though...lol

thanks! I'll take one as soon as I get my t-case drop installed. I've been busy with work so I didn't have time before I started that

awesome, that's what I wanted to hear. Most of my driving is on road and I'll probably only have some light off road use. Your jeeps look great btw!

The bolt, or what is left of it, is still stuck...I don't think I'm confident enough in my skills/don't have the right tools to drill it out and tap it properly. My dad insisted on calling a mechanic tomorrow to try to get it all fixed up. It really sucks because I hate having other people do stuff for me, but I guess that's sometimes the only option. I put the three other bolts on for the t-case drop so I'll be able to drive it over to the shop tomorrow or wednesday...

Here's a comparison for everything! I made sure to take them before I put my new tires on so that the measurement of the actual lift height would be accurate. My new tires are on though and I absolutely love them!

Rear Tires:

Sides (at driver's side doors):

I'll take another picture of it with the 31's on after I get it back from the shop...
