Okay Its happening I got a 4.10 Posi 8.8 Exploder rear end yesterday for $100 at the PAP brand new pads and all Went today and got the 1310 yoke I needed and ordered the Ruffstuff 8.8 Swap So far I am $230 in for the swap/ re-gear of the back Not to shabby

not much hapin, Too lazy to deal with the cold for the swap
Got the housing cleaned up and tubes welded. Now I am in a bit of a dilema tho.
I really think 4.56s would be moar better than 4.10s.......

thats it. Ohhhhh yeah Just ordered 4.56s for the 8.8
now in a week or so I will order the 4.56s for the d30, or who knows mayby a d44 will find its way under the front of this pos

I did already order a high ration d30 carrier tho...

update: 8.8 is about ready to put in. 4:56s installed in it. Just have to do it
went wheeling at Turkey Bay. had a blast. no winching didnt even get hung up with open/open Oh yeah I cut my fenders out a bit and am flareless

well I got teh front gears done and went wheeling again. Place in Lockport KY called Mud Madness. pretty rough trails only got a pic and video of a little mud pit at the entrance tho

autozone gave me a new tie rod woot woot

now to hold off on some beef steering for a while anyway

oh yeah and there are three heavy boxes inbound to my porch
Just sayin, dont matter nobody looks at my build anyway

I have not had any problems with them pivoting. they bottom out on the factory shackle boxes and cant really rotate. There is a write up in the fabrication section where I got my measurements.
