Welp, got the entire steering done (minus the steering box) and the track bar in. The difference is remarkable. No more pucker factor while driving.

Wow your build is looking great- definitely ready for some wheeling. Did the track bar fix your issue with the sway bar? I have the same problem with my sway bar not staying centered.

For the most part, but I'm not fully satisfied. I called Brian @ B Lee Offroad and he is working on a custom bracket for me. I'm pulling the sway bar off before Rauch this weekend.

Looks good!

What exactly did you get done? I'm looking to basically do the same to my XJ soon. From your pics it looks you did Trac bar, tie rod/panhard rod and steering stabilizer?

Many thanks

That's it. All Moog tie rod ends, RE track bar and drop brackets, RE stabilizer. I also have the Iron Rock Offroad HD solid tie rod. It's huge and solid steel.

Well, she stretched her legs today at Rausch. I must say, I'm very impressed with the results. I see an opportunity for some trimming and also a re-gear.

It was a blast! I'm trying to go back in 3 weeks and I should have the winch by that time. Sliders are after that. Still saving for gears and lockers, but that going to be a while.

agreed. Especially the front locker. I almost rolled backwards because the locker kept going up the steep slope, the front tires went 12" off the ground and made the jeep nearly vertical

Holy **** dude! I hope someone got that on camera. BFG Hill was a serious pucker factor for me. That tire on my roof made the drop in a bit crazy. Dukie was spotting me, so I was good.

lol.... yeeeaaaahhhh.... that's why I took all the crap off my roof. I think spares on the roof and gear racks and stuff look good. But I'm always paranoid about COG.

I already pulled it down and put it the back of the Jeep. The racks coming down tomorrow, but now I need to build a shelf or something for it so I can fit all my tools and stuff. Also need a spot for the Hi-Lift.

So is the rack going to stay off permanently?
