Should have it on within the next couple days. Any recommendations on a winch?
Hmmm.... dead center, huh? Got a pic of what's going on so we can better troubleshoot?

Good looking bumper man! I've heard great reviews on the ENCO winches. I think I may end up going with one once I get to that stage of my build.

2 Possibilities...

a) Your axle is off center (which it appears to be slightly). Installing the new trac bar will re-center it and give more clearance for the end links. - this seems like the most likely cause

b) the swaybar drop brackets could be bent or the holes are misaligned on that one side, pushing the swaybar back towards the spring on that side. - also possible, but seems a little less likely.

I would instal the new tracbar, make sure the axle is all centered up and then go from there.

On another note, those end links look like they have a lot of adjustability... why not run those out a couple of inches and get rid of the swaybar drop brackets?

I'll give this a try when it decides to stop raining. The track bar should be here on Friday, so Saturday or Sunday is go for install and adjusting. Hopefully the bumper goes on at the same time. I'm already done the passenger side bracket, just need a buddy to hold the steering box while put the driver side on.

So 2 things happened today out of the 3 things that I was hoping for. I'm happy with the 2 though.

First, got the basket mounted up on the roof and put the spare up there.

Second, I finally finished the front bumper. It's not so easy when you don't have a second set of hands.

The third thing was going to be installing the new IRO solid tie rod with new tie rod ends, but the damn castle nuts are so freaking stuck that they'll most likely need to be cut off. I tried everything, but had no luck. I was also trying to install the new track bar and bracket, but the Big Brown still hasn't shown up.

I digress...

Man that it looking awesome, I really like the bumper.

Which rack did you get? I've been looking at some but I haven't made any decisions. And to be honest I'm trying to cheap out on the rack, but I haven't found anything reasonable that looks like it could handle the weight of a tire.

That is a Rola rack. I've had it for years and it's held up great on 3 different vehicles.

Looks great man! Hey, do you have a heat gun and a mini-sledge? Might help you get those castle nuts to break free. Helped me out a lot with getting out the pressed in swaybar link studs.

I have a propane torch that I'm going to try on Sunday morning. If that doesn't work, I'm going to try a grenade. Not really, but it's crossed my mind.

Sweet, I'm checking those out now. Are you using the brackets that come with the rack on your factory cross bars or some other method to mount it?

Got the CB all dialed in today. Had a 10 minutes conversation with some old trucker. Kinda weird, but at least I know it works...

Also, looks like ALL the steering will be all replaced on Thursday. Fingers crossed it will be done for Rausch on Saturday.
