Well my mtr's are gone they just wont stay balanced. The tire shop messed with them today and decided that my rims are fine and the tire was out of round. So they sent them back to goodyear and i'm the owner of a new set of 35x12.5 mickey Thomson mtz's and I even got 20 bucks back.
Today was a good day.

Man that sucks about the tires this is the second time I hear that the goodyear mtrs are a pain to balance I was looking into buying some 35's early February but now I'm thinking of sticking to Km2's. Did goodyear try and send a new set?

I don't think the tire shop gave them the option. They called me up and asked me what kind of tire they should put on. So I just went with the mtz's . One of the mtrs wanted 17oz on one side the mtz's only took 6oz and that was on my worst rim. Seems like everyone with balancing problems are running the 35x12.5's. I really liked that tire and it was great on the road and off it just wouldn't stay balanced. The mickey Thompson mtz's seems pretty good so far they are a little louder but not bad.

Short term tire review. MTZ VS MTR.
On road. To me both tires when balanced are great. Both tires are very quite for a mud terrain and have good road manners.
I my self would go with the MTZ only because I had problems with keeping the MTR balanced.
Snow covered roads hands down the MTZ is a better tire. We got 5in last night and I had to drive my mom to the airport this morning and the MTZ did not skip a beat.
Never had to put it in 4 wheel drive. Ran 55 pretty much the hole way. The last time I drove on the MTR in the snow I had to run it in 4 wheel drive and it was still white knuckle the hole time.
Deep snow. Still need to test.
Off road. Still need to test.

Bushwacker flares? I like the looks of them, but like you, I'm afraid of ripping them off at some point. I don't want to spend the time and money on them if I'm going to end up damaging them.

They are the rugged ridge flares they are about half the price of the bushwackers.
I still have days that i just want to take them off but know I have holes in my finder from mounting them. So maybe one day ill buy some front and rear armor with built in flares.

No but you do have to take the ring gear off the carrier and make sure it goes back on the same way it came off I used a punch to mark the ring gear and carrier . Its pretty easy.

Very sharp lookin rig. I REALLY like the two tone. Did you paint that yourself? Was wondering if you liked the BFG 33's why didn't you go with BFG 35's? Just wondering. Your flex shots are choice.

The black is just rattle can from Wal-Mart. The BFG is a great tire for mild trails and they are great in the rocks. There are a couple places I wheel that are pretty muddy so I switched to a mud terrain.
