Because this is her first lifted vehicle and I wanted her to get a feel for it lifted before I took off the sway bars. The front is off now and the rear doesnt limit her in anyway so I just havent got around to taking it off.
She actually said she can feel a big difference now with the stiffeners. Going through off camber obstacles and around corners she said she feels alot safer and more in control of the Jeep

Someone jealous? Lol
Whenever you join the club lol we've been pretty good about posting up our trail rides. We're talking about making a trip to mabell or something before the end of the season. The trails we go on are great for local spots but they don't beat mabell or raush creek

Brought it to the garage yesterday to tighten the belt and recharge the A/C. That all went fine and dandy, but I had more time to kill. So I ended making some 0ga battery cables to replace the cruddy original ones and got some marine battery terminals to go with them. Then I tore out the trailer harness and fixed her weird light issue. Shes never going to tow anything anyway but I took it out neatly just incase.
I saved the old battery cables to compare but forgot to take pictures. Will grab some next time Im at the garage

Took it to my friends garage who donated his spare alternator to her cherokee since hers was making it sound like a spaceship lol
With the torrential down pours we're getting, I decided to just take her jeep home and to work today. I do like the ride compared to the YJ but I still feel more in control in the YJ. And between the wobble and crappy traction on the road, these swampers gotta go!

Figured I'd snap a quick pic of the battery cables on lunch break.
I have to pick up some more lugs to finish off the fender ground but I made sure I took care of the important ones first.
Then I took it through the trail by my work that I take my YJ through all the time. I gotta say, these things are really smooth

Been awhile since I posted. She's just been driving it. Other than putting my 60" Hi lift on her roof rack, haven't done anything else to it
But I'm starting to think about Christmas now and I'm trying to get ideas of things I can get her. I know I'm going to get her a solid front diff cover and a CB setup. Other than that I'm not too sure. Possibly one of those cubby hole subs and an amp.
Any suggestions?

Not much for updates. We've been out wheelin a bunch but havent had to do a lot of work to it. We did get some maintenance done for winter though. Did an oil change, air filter, drained and filled her front/rear diffs and tcase.
We're both getting tires by xmas and we're both going up to 35s. Not positive on what tire yet, still deciding.
We went to the Crawl for a Cure show in Mass. and won some awesome prizes at the raffle. We got a Smittybilt tow strap, Rugged Ridge 3.5" LED lights and an all paid for 3 day weekend in Maine to go wheelin at the Warrior Salute event!
Its not until August so we have plenty of time to prep. Theres a list of things but some of the bigger mods other than 35s would be at least one locker, 1 ton steering, relocators and rockers

Picked up the materials from a friend to make a new cross member so we can long arm the front, just have to order the hardware and joints. Probably going to end up making our own steering too. Also ordering 35" KM2s this week.
Ill try posting some pictures from our last wheelin trip
