The stiffeners will become full length skids A couple of guys in the club are starting up a fabrication shop and since hers is the only 2 door, she'll get to test a lot of stuff out. First thing after the frame stiffeners get welded in will be 2x6 rockers though other than that, gas tank skid, diff covers and thatll probably do it for her
Went wheelin with some of the club this weekend. Ill post some pics up from my phone, work blocked photobucket again

Today, YES, today is the day it gets dropped off! Not exactly sure how long itll be there, maybe a week. But Ill be there helping out, preping stuff so Ill try to get progress pics as well!

So after work I went to my buddy's garage where the stiffeners are getting put in
This was just out side lol even more jeeps in the bays. So we dug into his motor a bit and found his problem
And then I got to the stiffeners. First things first, since she has a short arm, you have to cut the leading 8 or so inches off
then I started wire wheeling the undercoating and rust off
Didn't get a finished shot of the passenger side but you get the idea. He said he might be able to get it in the garage today but that depends on another job he's doing

It's in!
started dropping the cross member, marked and sanded where the welds will be. Notched a section of the stiffeners in the rear by the leaf spring hanger so they would sit flush and then called it a day. He's going to be away till Sunday or Monday with the race car so, unfortunately, no progress updates until the

Got some more work done on her XJ. Passenger side is all finished. Just have to paint
Started on the driver side
got it all patched up and tacked the stiffener in place for the night
And even found a smaller muffler to replace her original one with
the club is hoping to go wheelin on Sunday so we're trying to get this finished by then and test it out in the trails
