Took a trip to Rausch Creek Off road park.
it was fun but we ended up spending more time outside on the 95 degree day waiting for someone to fix an overheating wrangler then actually on the trail driving.
got a couple shots in the trails but non were good i was at the back of the line but i got a few flexing shots at the trailer in tower city
also ran a scan tool for my check engine light. i have 11 codes. 02 sensors. misfires in 3 cylinders. evap leak. something with the ecm oh jeez

so guess what everyone! my serpentine belt snapped, during which, grabbed onto one of the metal trans lines and puled it into the fan. now i have a hole in the line so i need to buy a new one. also replaced the belt, started it up and it flew off. so my crank pulley is out of line. damit! oh well im on vacation right now i dont need my jeep its in nj and im in nc right now. so when i get back i have to:
rip off front end.
durango steering box (i bought a while ago)
radiator
new trans line
realign rank pulley
new belt
put it all back together only with new bumper
wire lights.
woohoo!

So my cb stuff should be coming in tomorrow. and xjfirefighter antenna mounts for frank kyle and myself should be coming in friday sat or monday?
I ordered a:
cobra 19 ultra III cb,
firestik 3' firestick w. tuneable tip,
firestik SS3H heavy duty spring,
18' RG58 Coaxial Cable,
and xjfirefighter's taillight mount.
got some more pics:
Had to go muddin with the new tires. I crawled right through the spot i sunk at last time... way back in the woods i got double pumpkin stucked.
I think i have a leak. came in through the river somewhere. only on the passenger side i cant figure it out. HELP!
here it is that night
Flexin like a newb. front swaybar is still in by the way. needa get me some discos
this ones my favorite:
So I went to the carwash. on my way home my brake pedal had no pressure. brake light came on. apparently the carwash blew a master cylinder out on the back passenger side. but before i knew this i went under my truck to look around... this is what i find
dif breather vaccume line cracked right off.
well... looks like i got some work ahead of me

im getting very annoyed. every time i fix something i find something else broken lol. got the pulley hammered back in place today, put the new belt on, and my alternator seizes. little bit of lube to break the rust and its temporarily good, but now i have a really bad tranny leak cause of when the belt snapped i think, so the whole underside is getting soaked and hits the exhaust pipe and makes steam/smoke. on top of that when i put the ac on, the belt hardly spins. jesus! and to top all of that off, the powdercoat shop was closed today so i took a trip there for nothing.

okay so frank and i put on a new idler pulley, and new alternator, and now it doesnt squeal at all anymore.
also i got my bumper back from the powedercoat shop! woo.
so im going for surgery on my shoulder tomorrow so i wont be able to complete my jeep for a while but still to come is the durango box swap, the bumper, and new radiator.
anyone have any tips for a trans cooler install. since my belt snapping ended up dragging my trans lines into the fan they have holes in them and leak so i figure if i have to replace them i might as well add a seperate cooler.

finally done with everything. didnt get many pics tho since i could only use one arm most was holding a flashlight at night.
so i still have 2 more lights to mount somewhere on there, and i have to wire them all up. but im really happy with this. thanks again to the guys at jcroffroad for working with me on a price that fit what i needed.
so guys im still determining if i should keep removing the plastidip on the front facia and leave it off or redo it. what do you guys think looks better?
