So last week I checked my oil because I was at the 4k Mark and was going to replace it in the next few weeks. And was surprised to find a large amount of gas in the oil. So I did research into causes and decided it was my driving style, all city and rarely more then 5miles at a time.. which doesn't let gas evaporate because the engine didn't get up to running temp.

So Saturday exactly 1 week later I checked the oil again. Gas.... barely 10 miles later. And dispite a 30mile drive to make sure the gas evaporates for the week. So skipping to now I dropped it off at the mechanic after a lot of research some trouble shooting and a lot of head scratching. Still leaving me clueless.

hmm that's interesting...doesn't make much sense to me. I don't see how gas can get in the oil unless you have bad piston rings. What makes you so sure there was gas in the oil?

Smell it smells very strong of gas. And if the rings were bad wouldn't it be burning oil to? Because I'm not getting any smoke out of the exhaust.

Check your injectors. They can leak down while it's sitting.

That could be it. I did check with the screwdriver trick to make sure they were working. But that didn't tell me if their leaking.

That's probably more likely than what I suggested. I forgot about the injector leakdown

Well heard from the mechanic and he said that there is not enough gas in it to be worried as of now, and to put 500 more miles on it and bring it back.as for all the oil/gas I just replaced, He says that the thermostat may have stuck open for a little bit and or leaky injectors. Best part is he isn't even going to charge me 90$ in labor! :-)

UPDATE! Painted my coils and most of the leaf springs. Also welded up some leaf spring clips and welded them onto the springs. Also got the last few parts I needed in. Skyjacker trackbar drop bracket. Front shocks and also some leaf spring isolators/sliders.(those are boring so I don't have pics of those.)

Well after the first two days of the actual lift process one sway bar link is broken and I had to cut my track bar out. So I ordered a rough country adjustable track bar.(I know cheap! But hey I'm poor and in need it now!) But by late morning I should finish what I can in the front and move on to the back

Well I guess it is time for an update on the lift. I got it lifted with much difficulty seems like everything broke. But it is siting in the garage with 3 in up front 4 in the back. STILL WAITING ON THE TRACK BAR! Was supposed to receive it 27-1st but nothing yet so they will probably revive a call if I don't get it tonight. The picture with the straps was my make shift track bar in order to turn the jeep around in the garage, and the ones of the jeep are with just the front lifted
