I also installed a set of 4 AWG battery cables that I made. Grimace; The purple haze.-image-2592803025.jpg

Drilled a 2" hole in the firewall and put in a rubber grommet in preparation for wiring all my crap that I plan to install.

I have never seen shackles rust that bad.

me neither and the weird thing is... When I took the gas tank out to replace the fuel pump, the strap nuts came out easily and there weren't rust on the hanger bolts either. They also look very original too.

yes it's a newish stock leaf packs with newish RockKrawler 2" AAL. With new bushings

nice, i am so glad i dont have to install a lift on my XJ, it was lifted 4.5" when i bought it, i just need to get better shocks, and fix my shackle angle.

yeah I have some unfinished shackle relocation brackets for a previous jeep project that I think I should finish up for this one as well.

Relocation brackets ll help your shackle angle too.

Yep, i am however thinking of going with the Liquid Metal Industries slider box though i have heard nothing but great things.

I had half a shackle floating around the unibody rail...happens. Where do you live?
