Ok so let me catch up...

One Saturday I went to a guy who were parting out a ZJ, and grabbed the front and rear seats. And drove to other guy who were parting out a XJ, bought the entire interior off the jeep. The next day, I did the swap. I'm liking the black interior. Too bad the ZJ seats didn't match. Maybe I' ll change the color someday.

The header panel was in a bad shape, so I picked up another one from a part out. The clear coat was peeling so I sanded it down and primed it. Probably gonna paint it black, with a purple grille.

Also installed some purple LEDs in the cluster

haha yep. I sold the RK long arms. I prob either would make my own or buy B.Lee's 3 link.

I have 2" leaf springs with 1.5 shackles. I need coils and shocks. Probably gonna go with some JK rubicon shocks.

Bought 10 feet wire of each color for about $15. That way when I wire up switches and other random stuff, I ll know which wire is which and where it goes.

Just ordered a headlight harness from eBay.

http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/330997592807

Now I'm still undecided on what headlights to run. I wish trucklites would be in my budget but it is not. I have rampages on my crawler, I love it. I may get another set for this jeep.

But for now I ll run stock bulbs until funds come through.

I keep being too lazy to update.

So I took the jeep in for inspection. Of course it failed lol.

The rear shackles are badly rusted out.
Track bar is very loose
CEL burned out
Mismatched size tires with very low tread
And few other things I forgot.

This was January 2.

By now I replaced the track bar with a new $30 eBay special, put in two rear tires from the junkyard, and replaced the shackles with 2" lift shackles.

Also had to replace the burnt out CEL light.
Turns out I have two codes...

One for cylinder one misfiring and one for fuel level sender.

The fuel level was easily fixed with a new Bosch fuel pump. It was very easy to do. Took me only one hour to do it, amazing because nothing broke or got damaged.

As for the cylinder one misfire. I did the compression test and determined that the cylinder one have 30 psi less than the rest. Doesn't smoke blue so it's not leaking oil or burning oil. The oil ring obviously is fine. The two compression rings are probably shot.

Look like I might have to tear into the engine in the future. But as of right now it look like I still can't get the jeep passed if the CEL keep popping up, ugh.

I m trying to see if I can "unstick" the rings open. So I'm doing a shot of Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinder occasionally as well as some water steam cleaning.

Probably gonna try other treatments just for ****s and giggles.
