"The Green Monster" 98 ZJ build
Kinda got quite a bit done already, firgured better late then never. Aquired my 98 ZJ a little over a year ago with 91,000 miles on her. Took her out a week after I got her to Cape Henlopen, DE
First thing I did after changing all of the fluids and giving her a new set of plugs and wires was to lift her. Got the IROR 3.5" foundation kit and installed it.
Started looking for rims on Craigslist, got a sweet deal on a set of 15x8 M/T Classic II's with 4" of backspacing. Was an even trade for my stock rims
After installing 32x11.5/15's at Rausch Creek
Light bar and Hi-Lift jack
Got a good deal on some 33x12.5/15 Maxxis mudders so I went ahead and got them
It was a tight fit. Don't want to go any higher, so I broke out the cutting wheel and rolled my fenders and rear quarters 1.5"
Maryland has a fender flare law, wasn't about to dump big bucks on flares that would end up getting torn up wheeling, so I got some XJ flares at the junkyard and and fit them to the jeep. Took a total of 7 flares to get it done
Have replaced the power steering box with a Durango box. currently finishing up bodywork, repainting the jeep Sun Yellow, and am currently building my winch bumper.
More pics to come....

Making headway on the winch bumper. Should have all of the steel fitted today, and a majority of the welding done
Did notice one thing, need to come up with some kind of protection for the radiator, will be looking to get this part done at a fab shop so I can keep the air flowing on the lower part of the radiator.
Will also be ordering a prerunner bar before putting the final paint on her

this is just my opinion of a real "Green Monster"
-This is my buddies '98 ZJ with 9" of long-arm lift, 35" KM2's, locked front and rear with 4.88's, snorkel, 5.2l v8, straight pipe exhaust, pic says everything else and does not do it justice...
good build so far though...
