Hooray for leaky gas tanks! Thankfully mine only leaks when its full (which it never is). I have the 3" skyjacker sport lift on mine and am extremely satisfied with it although it does ride a bit rough. Doesnt really bother me though. I considered rough country but ended up steering away from that in the end because the skyjacker kit was only a tad more expensive and from what ive gathered better quality too.

So i spent a few hours taking out the tank and fixing it yesterday when i realized a shock was broke so i got a new one. Man they are a pain in the *** to fix i had to go in from the top of the rear end of the jeep. It really hurts to cut holes into my baby. But i used some bondo to patch that up now i have to paint it. I will post pics when i do that.

Pull the old one out and replace the old fabric with new fabric. Make sure to clean the old glue off (you can find headliner glue at any parts store)

Decided instead of fixing the headliner im going to just install a roll cage that will help hold it up lol. Keep posted for pictures.

Personally if I were you I would still re-do it. It's not that difficult and looks a lot nicer when its not hanging everywhere. (Plus it doesnt touch your head when you sit in it )

Engine overheated today in the middle of nowhere had to tow it back to my place now to figure out what caused it. I had plenty of coolant.

Nice 2 door, gotta love em!

If your saying your gonna cage this thing, crawl it, etc.. Why not save up for a proper lift. I spent a good chunk of change on my 5.5", I never used to really wheel mine. Its fine in the mud but once you start wheeling the tech stuff they have there disadvantages. In hind sight I would have drove it lower for longer and invested in a nice long arm but thats my 2 cents. Excited to see what comes of this!

Well i am stuck dumping my money into a clutch, Water pump and a new belt which all together shouldnt be more than $500. This spring i should be able to invest in a pretty good lift kit due to a raise at work.
