Started with the Herculiner
Well we finally got started we applied herculiner to the bottom panels on the Jeeps today. This took all day but I think it turned out nice
Cost $100.00 from AutoZone for the Gallon it took 2 Gallons to do all three Jeeps.

Phase 1
Phase 1 is to apply Herculiner to the bottom of all three Jeeps
Phase 2 is to add a Class 3 hitch to the Asst. Chief's Jeep and to add a CB and Roof Rack.
Phase 3 we will be preping all 3 Jeep for the team colors and then applying the new paint to the 3 Jeeps and our new to us Jon Boat.
Phase 4 will be to add all our decals and red/blue lights
Phase 5 will be to add sirens and additional radios.
Phase 6 will be to add a headliner to the Asst. Chief's Jeep after all the wiring is done for the lights.
Since there is not much room in and around the Jeep Dash area we trying to figure out where to place the additional radios and Light switches.
Im thinking the Roof area or above front windshield. Ill let you know as we make up our mind.
Additional phase might be to add a 3 inch lift to the Asst. Chief's Jeep and possibly design and install a homemade snorkel.
We will see Ill post more pictures after this weekends paint party.

The Herc-u-liner turned out very nice.
Two quick questions and thoughts..
What kind of group are these Jeeps for??
Second... That A-pillar mount of the CB, is a bit concerning. It would be directly in the path of driver's face in a collision. Also what are Texas' laws concerning obstructed windshield? That is just in the way enough for a state trooper in Illinois to give you some hassle about it.

The Jeeps are for an all volunteer Search, Rescue and Recovery and Disaster Response organization. We also deal with wildland fire here in Texas.
The a-pillar install will be moved to the center of the roof once I get the rest of the Radios so I can handmake a center console to fit them all.
