Over the weekend I cleaned all of the grounds and most of the electrical connections in my engine bay. Also put my front skid back on

Tonight I replaced my oil pressure sending unit, ccv and pcv elbows and changed the oil. I jumped on the rotella train and went with t6 5w40. I'll probably go with 10w30 next time though

Almost done with the hid retrofit project. They will be installed tomorrow.

I will be doing a writeup on it also, so if there's anything specific anyone wants to see in it let me know.

Well if it's not one thing it's another. I was pulling into my driveway and I hit the curb a little too hard and was just turned just right that my tire caught my bumper. Bent it pretty good. looks like I'll be rebuilding it a little sooner than I thought haha

Funny thing is that I was just about to put my stock bumper up for sale today

Finally got the hids done and installed last night! They are a great improvement over my Autopals which are plenty bright.

Gonna take some pictures for a comparison between them and my Autopals in a bit

Autopal ecodes with 55/60 (I think)

The hids

The hid bulbs I am currently running were the cheapest I could find ($12) just in case I would happen to order the wrong thing twice. They are supposed to be 4300k but I think they look more like 5000-6000k. With that said I will be getting a set of Philips 4300k bulbs in the future and do another comparison.

Nice and easy fix, I like it. I would see about welding on some kind of tube or something to guard the light and corners.

Thats the plan. I'll probably get to it in the spring or summer

have you done your write up yet? If so can you post a link? And in the write up can you include links to the items you bought for the retrofit? Thanks!

Not yet. I'll get to it sometime this week, maybe tomorrow if I have time and post a link in here. It will have links to everything.
