Haha it pretty much is. I wanted to make it big enough so I can use the top as a table to work on and so that I can have storage above and below my welder. This way I can fit most of what I need in it

Finally got my bumper on!

I've also learned to never buy a homemade bumper again! I will be building my own from now on. Probably gonna build one to replace this next summer... but here it is

It doesn't look too bad, those are some sharp corners though. Why not just modify this one to your liking?

Most of the welds on it are terrible. I couldn't see them when I bought it cause they were covered in bedliner. So it would be better just to make a new one. I'll use most of the metal from this one to make the new bumper though

RE coils came in today, went with 3.5". Got them from Serious Offroad. He had the best price I could find for them and has great customer service.

Liking where this is going so far. If you like the bumper but not the welds, why not grind them down and re-do them? Looks good though.

Thanks!

I was actually thinking about what I'm gonna do with it today. I think I'm gonna cut it into a stubby and re-do the welds then

That would work, but I think that the way it is now might be more effective. At least at stock height. Lifted stubby with bent tubing under the lights would be cool.

I'll have it lifted by the time I get around to it. Tubing is in the plan I just don't know how I want it yet, but I have a long time to figure it out haha
