Naw, I finished the sliders. Well mostly any way, I want to pull them back off and add a pinch seam brace for them. The winch bumper is made of 3/16" steel, except for the mount which is 5/8". I wish I mounted it a little higher for a better approach angle but it's coming along great. I should have it finished tomorrow and I'll try to throw up some pics that night. Also I picked up my new 33's today. Procomp Buy 3 Get 1 free. I bought a set of 33X12.50 Extreme M/T's. Next project is to trim the fenders and throw them bad boys on.

Well got the bumper just about done now. Still need to clean it up with a mop disc and a few other lose ends. But seems to be coming together for now.

Took a break from the bumper today to take out some aggression and make some room for the new 33's.
After I ripped off the fenders I marked all the rivets with chalk so I didn't cut any of them up.
After a few whacks of a hammer I went from 6" of clearance to 8.25"
Still need to clean them up a little bit and do a little touch up on the paint but I like the look so far.

Well got a ton of work done today on the Jeep:
Started the day off with removing the 31's and taking them down to the tire shop to have the 33's swapped over. I'll be picking them up in the morning.
Also finished up the fender trimming and I'm pretty sure I got plenty of room to stuff some 33's under the jeep now:
Also used some good old pool noddles to fill the fender gap:
Here's the aftermath:
Next step is to do some touch up painting and also put on some edge trim I got from autozone for about 10 bucks.

Well this is a little bit of a late update but as soon as we got done with everything we had to go get it dirty. Here she is with new meats on along with the shiney new bumper after we got back:
Pics of the trip are on my buddies camera so I'll post them up when I get them later this week.

Well I been driving the jeep in 3rd gear hear lately which closely simulates a 4.56 gear raito on 33's in 4th gear. I'm pretty sure that is the gear ratio I want to go with. Only problem I got right now is the 11.5 mpg I'm getting now. I just installed the TB spacer I got at the beginning of summer so hopefully that will help out some. Really would like to get this thing back to at least 12mpg's. I remember before I started modding it I could get 21 mpg's down the highway.

I got my tires from 4wheelparts.com , there buy 3 get 1 free right now.
I'll try and grab some better pics of the slider later on this week. I'm in the process of moving back to school right now so been a little busy packing right now. Basically I made an L bracket to go down the side of the frame and along the bottom. I drilled holes into the bracket and through the frame. Using a tap I threaded the holes and attached it to the frame. I plan on going back and adding a second bracket to attach the rails to the pinch seam as well for extra strength.

Well today I just picked up some 5.5" RE coils for a TJ. I'm going to throw them on the XJ and I'm hoping to get about the same lift out of them. Should net me about 4.5" I hope when you add on my winch weight. It will help to eliminate my 2.5" coil spacers anyway. Also picked up a set of D44 4.56 gears and a carrier today as well. So she should be coming together pretty well here soon.

Yet some more parts to add to the pile today:
Got my RE Track bar and Frame Bracket in. Plans are to install it this afternoon.
Also just got off the phone with RC and ordered me 4 new RC9000 shocks. That should keep my old ones from acting as limiting straps.
Even went ahead and ordered me some marine speakers from Walmart. Figured since with me going doorless I'd mount some speakers in the kick panales and water proof speakers sounded like a good way to go with that.
Now I just got to figure out a good day to do some wrenching.
