DD Prius and 99 Heep
So I thought it would be cool to start my own thread of my slow project, so here we go... I bought this Cherokee about 5 months ago for $450!! it had 150k miles on it with some small dents, some rust in the rocker panels and a blown head gasket. the guy told me it over heats but when I picked it up I put some antifreeze and drove it 20 minutes to my house w no problem
inside smelled a lot like weed and cigs so I cleaned it and looked new, after that I change the head gasket, valve cover, intake and that thing was running like new!! then took it to my buddys shop and he fixed all the rust spots and basically painted the whole jeep for very cheap
How it looked the day I got it from buddys shop (sorry no before pic but it looked worse)
doing some painting
after

I know people are gonna start hating but yeah I have dd prius hahah but trust me I love jeeps this is my 2nd Cherokee and I also had a grand wagoner. and Prius are not that bad.
So after the jeep was running good the first thing I did was order a lift kit
rough country 4.5
took me 3 freaking days
final product (29s)

So when I was installing the transfer case drop I broke one of the bolts and now I have to drill the **** out.. but I drove it without the transfer case drop and I didn't get any vibration. I was thinking of getting this crossmember that drops the TC 1 inch (http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-sk...er-1-drop.html) mine a little rusty. but I don't know if its worth it or should I just put the TCD that came with the lift kit? any suggestions? is it worth it?
Also I ordered 32s Kenda klevers mt a few days ago and they should be here today. I was gonna get 33s but I didn't have enough money so I decided to go with 32s which were very cheap!

If you can get your hands on a cross member from a manual Xj it drops everything an inch I believe but you don't lose that inch of clerance. I read about it on cf many many moons ago
