this past weekend I finally had some time to work on the jeep, put on new front hubs and finally got my tires on

well been a while since i updated. a lot has changed. im gathering parts for the jeep and i also bought a new DD , so the jeep is a toy now!

sometime in October when i was coming home from work the jeep started making horrible noises. noises is shouldn't be making. so i had my dad come pick the jeep and i up.

Took the jeep to a mechanic because one i didnt have time for it and two, im not an engine expect by any means.

well a week went by and we finally heard from the mechanic.
I bend three rods and a piston was trashed.

a month or two went by and the no work had been done to the jeep. a friend of mine had a solid engine, so i bought it and had the mechanic go threw everything. new gaskets, had the head check and double checked. new oil pan gasket. new pistons. new rods.

a new engine!!

so while I submerge myself in the 32 mpg from the new DD. i have been looking and buying parts for the jeep.



2.0 fox shocks




a real SYE




3" OME springs




some rough country lower control arms




external trans cooler. ( going to add to whats already there)


I also already have an adjustable track bar and bracket. all i need is new isolators and time.

Coming along nicely, but how in the heck do you bend 3 rods?!?!
I can totally relate to the hoarding (accumulating?) parts, but not having any time to actually install anything.

no idea actually. I was driving to work and I heard a small pop and than there was someone in my engine bay knockin.
