Trying to make a charity ride March 14th at AOP for a friends nephew who was born with a skin disease. Never been to AOP and I think it'll be a good first run. Might try and go to Chocco for a shake down before hand if I can get someone to go with me whenever I get a weekend off.

Marcus, you have an open seat for RBD on that Saturday?

I hope to make it to AOP for my first time for their New Years event. Let me know when you plan on a shakedown run, I may try to come. As of right now I have a passenger, if something changes I'll let you know.

Here are those lower link brackets I was talking about Will. It made life much easier mounting a lower link on the driverside of my '86 Ford 60.

Those are nice. I might have to spring for those. I still need to get the axles off the trailer lol. Ho bag at HD Offroad has really good prices from Barnes 4wd through NAXJA so hopefully on Black Friday I can save some more doll hairs.

Brian at HDO is getting me 15% off Barnes plus his discount. Should come out pretty good. I haven't worked on the Jeep the last week. I got strep and a sinus infection and feel awful.

Brian at HD Offroad saved me about $80 and hooked me up on one of his 3 link brackets. Everyone should get a quote from him during Barnes 4wd's sale!

Forgot I had money in my Paypal so it was an even better surprise. Hopefully I can get some TWF PVC inserts this week too. Hopefully I'll actually work on this thing soon.

I am going on that ride in March. Should be good. If you decide on a date for Chocco let me know. I might see if I can go up there with you. Looks like a pretty good place.

I've been sick this past week and a half so I haven't gotten a whole lot done dealing with that and some friends coming back to town for the holiday. I did a little today though. Finally brought the axles in after sitting on the trailer for a month. Got the rear cleaned up and sorta stripped down. Gonna open it up this week and look into welding the LSD carrier and shaving a little of the housing. Got my leaf perches welded on today and set the pinion angle as best I could with how I think it will sit at full weight with a spare, trail gear, and tube. Got the ruffstuff swap kit for free from Huntingman, saving $120 on that was probably the biggest reason I didn't decide to 4 link it right off the bat. Along with that all adds up pretty quickly and I need to study up on all the numbers with a triangulated 4 link.

Anyway, pics:

Once I am 100% on the pinion angle I'll burn the inside of the perches on as well just cause I can. Gonna be the only thing on the axle tube other than a traction bar. I'll weld the tubes to the housing and call it a day.

Is the relocation bracket pushed back now? Looks like you ties into the bumper.

Looking sweet man.

Yeah. I took the bracket off and milled the frame mounting holes out to let it slide back as far as possible. Has 2 bolts on the bottom and is completely welded to the bumper. I'll probably use some tube to tie the front side in to the frame.
