Clifford, The Big Red Jeep....
So just picked this up. I kinda gave up on my 94....rust bucket. But I had done enough work to it to get 250% what I bought her for....
So I bring you...
Well...not so big yet....
I know everyone always wants to know what your plans are...but I don't want to be that guy that changes his mind every other day...so I am going to leave that open for now.
Specs:
$1250
1998 4.0 AX-15
2 Door
218k miles
Runs PERFECT
All stock....
Right now I want to fix the little stuff.
It has the infamous instrument panel issue, the rear hatch won't open from the outside, the Aux fan is missing...just not there.
Other than that....she is good to go....and most important for a guy who comes from Ohio....NO RUST!
I will update as I can....first I will probably start with the fixes and performance.
I have a garage full of parts....goal is to have her ready for the trails by the last week in September.
Thanks!

Just got all the tune up stuff...change over to Rotella and copper point ignition parts.
Ordered a sunroof and 702's...
Putting together an exhaust system from performance-curve.com
That's a start...
Going to go with a 3.5" lift. Already have leafs lined up from a buddy....had them for only 5 trips before parting the Jeep so they are next to new.

Ok...I am ready to reveal some plans.
Engine: 99 intake, Bored TB with Spectre Cowl CAI, rebuilt 702 injectors, APN header, and full mandrel bent exhaust system from performance-curve.com, new BEEFY motor mounts.
Suspension: 3.5" lift with 5100 Bilsteins, adjustable UCA/LCA, Adj Track bar, etc etc
Tires/Wheels: Turbines as shown above with an MT good on and off road (KM2, MTR, Grabber?)...would like to go 33x10.5
That will be round one.
Repairs to the little stuff I inherited from PO will start this weekend.
I am also looking into different kind of flares that will allow me to cut for clearance but maintain a nice clean look.
