I hate lowered cherokees. I like the lowered tj's with the top gone.. reminds me of old t buckets. I just troll'd because you were asking for it. Personally I hate it. Seems a little inconvenient, hard to work on, speed bump problems.. lol. But, to each their own. do what you want.

Props on originality... but does it actually drive?.. to be honest, when I first saw the pic, I thought it was the body lying on the ground. You win.

Hey guys.
Good to see the BS has simmered. To answer the questions I read, yes it drives. I get 10 inches of lift in the rear and 8 inches in the front at 150psi shop air. I am running 200 psi and there is a TON of room in the bags at 150psi. The tires all clear the fenders and I get positive camber at higher pressure.
I am doing a fully welded roll pan with frenched bullet 50's Caddillac tails. And front bumper I am doing a shaved and smoothed metal surround from a 50's Ford pickup.
I will get a pic of it aired up tommorow...if it doesn't snow tonight

Heres some pics to give you an idea of whats going on under the skin of Troll.
This first picture is sad...it will probably anger many of you...but this is how it started.
This gives you an idea of the front bag set up. Bag on radius arm. The arms have been plated and braced. I still have bushings, but I will be fabbing some heim mounts to get better flex out of the radius arms.
Thats aired to 125psi with no motor/trans...obviously hahaha
The rear is a triangulated 4 link with bag on lower bars.
Thats 125psi.
So thats the bag setup, generally.

The frame is pretty much a Ford Ranger frame, with a custom backhalf. I used the beams to get STUPID camber when its layed out . Also its back to the Troll theme. Minitruckers HATE Ranger front suspensions for tucking any kind of big wheels on a bodied truck and they hate the camber...so I layed frame on stock beams. I dropped the engine crossmember 4 inches to lay rail and crossmember.
I kept the stock rails and didn't use 2x4x.250 because its not a big deal to me having a step up in the floor, and for ease of running exhaust and everything. I still want to drive it at times. If I were to do it over, I wouldn't change the frame rails.
I did just what it looks like. I just cut the "body" away from the floor and along the top of the firewall and lifted it off. I actually drove the "chassis" out from under the body hahaha. I built body mounts into the unibody points and pillars. I boxed the pillars with 1x3x125 internally.
So, here it is.
The back is fully welded. I couldn't drop the frame down because none of my air ride equipment or fuel cell would have fit. So I was left to weld it into the crossmember (obvisouly custom) and the pillar. Again, its all boxed on the "body" metal and tied into the original structure.
The front clip is super basic. Its tied into the frame under the cowl.
All the frame is fully painted and coated now.
Fuel cell cradle
Air tank.
The compressors will be mounted in the "valley" in front of the cell over the rear axle.

The body doesn't have any clearance issues....oh wait, except one haha
This is the "valley" I was refering to.
This is the truck aired up at 125 psi, with full weight. Lots of lift out of the beams...thats another big reason for using beams.
And a couple more height comparisons. I am about 5'11", crounching right beside it.
And Its really hard to get a head shot standing beside it.
Well, thats pretty much it. Please ask questions, point of "flaws" (even though there aren't any lol I'm joking), talk smack, etc.

you know...I usually hate lowered trucks, moreover jeeps. But this...this just does a full 180 and I think it's kinda cool. I wouldn't do it but dude, you've got a lot of skill to be able to pull this off. Keep on keepin' on buddy, looking forward to seeing what else you do.
